Has anyone else noticed that KJ’s is never open when they say they will be? I went today at 9am (Sunday) and the hours posted say that they are open at 8am on Sundays and yet nobody was there and the closed sign was still up. This has happened so many weekends now that I just decided to stop going here. Unfortunate because they used to have. Very reliable girls there but it just seems to have gone down hill somewhat recently. Also I went there during the week and this new girl with dark hair working sat there with a line out to the street and she was just talking away for over 10 minutes to a customer. Not cool.

Terri and Karlee operate a first class business with delightful, smart, skilled baristas who consistently serve great hot & cold beverages and food. I love their vanilla chai lattes which they customize to perfection every time. Terri also operates KJ's with selfless community spirit and integrity. Terri and KJ's survived the brutal COVID lockdown period which affected every resident and business in Newcastle financially. In spite of the COVID period struggles, Terri refused ARPA grants so money can go to more essential services that "serve the entire Newcastle community". Newcastle needs more operators and businesses like Terri and KJ's Cup O' Joe.
