Loco Chon Bar & Grill is an excellent spot for authentic Mexican food and one I’d highly recommend to anyone in the area. The food here is absolutely great—fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions that leave you satisfied every time. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious, from the meats to the sides, and the presentation makes it even better. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. Service is quick and attentive without ever feeling rushed, which makes the dining experience really enjoyable. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and perfect whether you’re grabbing a casual meal, celebrating with friends, or bringing the family. Prices are fair for the quality and portion sizes, and you can tell they really care about making sure customers leave happy. This is definitely a place worth visiting, and I’ll be coming back again. Highly recommend!

Terrible experience. Food is the same quality as El Riconsittos (fast food). But WAY too expensive for the quality. 2 Tacos for $24. Service was slow, even though it was not busy. Atmosphere is much better at other Mexican restaurants IMO.
These guys are only successful due to location/convenience.
Price is way too high. Cocktails are not good and over priced as well.
I felt like I got ripped off when the meal was done.

Been here before with friends and it was great and delicious. Came back just a little bit ago this evening to grab a drink and a bite before the dreaded weekly grocery shopping trip. I was greeted right away at the rail by the bartender. Provide a food menu and showed my ID. He then kind of forgot about me. As he was conversing with what I would guess are regulars and casually doing glassware. Never a glance back at me. I had my menu closed and in front and I was not on my phone. I gave the appearance I was ready to order. Rather ask for a drink menu since I wanted that first before ordering my food. He never came back. So I left after about 10 minutes. And I probably wont be back. And I really wanted tacos tonight. But I’m at my favorite Thai place. I am a server/bartender at the same restaurant for a little over 10 years there was no reason for him to not have been back in less than 5 minutes. I looked around to make sure I wasn’t just trippin. He was not busy. The place was, he had no tickets and only 2 couples and myself at his rail.

“No tax on tip”: 100% support from me
18% tip on tax: 0% support from me. I chose 18% tip for the day that only 2 servers worked during early dinner time. We waited awhile to order and receive food. I was very understanding for the overworked waitresses. The tip was meant for the food and service rendered. However, I never thought the 18% tip was also used for the tax. That’s dubious since I did not intend to tip the state of Washington for taxing me. Although it’s not illegal, it’s unethical. Fix it.

I’ve been getting takeouts here once or twice a month for the past 2 years, and i always make the same order: pork belly bites. It’s SO yummy. The only problem is INCONSISTENCY in the quality. Out of the dozens of times I’ve ordered the same dish, some were exceptionally excellent in taste and quality, most were normal, and some were bad🙁. For example, sometimes I get both my sauces but sometimes (like today) I got no sauce☹️; sometimes the meat is sooo tender and delicious but sometimes (like last time I ordered) the meat is very rough and impossible to chew like it’s old food from earlier in the day; sometimes the chips are amazing and I scrape the bottoms of the bag for the last bite but sometimes (like today) my chips are stale. By how many times I’ve eaten this dish you jut have to trust that I am their pork belly bites connoisseur. I will continue to order this because I’m obsessed with it, and I will continue to tip the staffs because they are nice and helpful. But I’d like the restaurant to be aware of their inconsistency, and I really hope they won’t change the price/taste/portion of this dish.
