This New Castle location is the best Mod experience that we have had. I don't normally do reviews like this but, we are huge Mod consumers with one only a couple of minutes from our house that has disappointed to many times. New Castle is going to be our new regular Mod stop even though it is about 20 minutes away.

Personally, the food is amazing and healthy. The employees are very welcoming and friendly, and give us varieties of pizza customization. If there was an employee of the month, I’d give it to Mark in the Newcastle mod pizza. I love talking to him, and is always friendly when I come.

I’ve been a loyal MOD fan for years. But this past year, the quality has gotten worse and worse each time. Today, after paying for 3 pizzas that turned out like salty cardboard, we said “Never again.” Idk if it’s just this location or a chain-wide problem. But I’m very hesitant to try again. The staff are nice enough, but they don’t seem happy like they used to.

For a chain pizza place, I think MOD pizza does a good job.
Friendly workers, but with 6 employees and 2 of us in the restaurant, we felt weirdly ignored. Literally saw our pizza come out of the oven, and I waited in our booth while the workers chatted for a while before they seemed to realize they hadn't called us over.
This is fairly common, and not a big deal, but worth taking off a star.
