Golden China Restaurant is a clean and pleasant dining option with commendable service and good food. The menu offers a variety of chicken entrees, including Szechuan chicken and almond chicken, both praised for their taste. The dinner combo, which includes sweet and sour prawns and special chow mein, is particularly satisfying. While the chow mein and some dishes may have unique interpretations, they are generally well-received. The waitress was awesome and kept excellent care of everyone, even when the restaurant got really busy. They offer good portions of good food, and the chilli Relleno was good. The place is great for "American Chinese food," and the spicy crispy beef is good. The restaurant serves oolong tea and offers the option to substitute items in meals. Plates came out in good succession, and the food was exceptional and the prices were more than reasonable. It's hard to find good food especially good ethnic food in northern Idaho and Northeast Washington, but this place is the exception to the rule.
