We drive from Lexington, Ky every few months just to eat at Newport Pizza Company. Everything is made fresh. Meatballs are great and the hoagies are delicious. Also their Cincinatus pizza puts a whole new spin on my favorite chili. Visit them, you won’t be disappointed.
We were tired after being on the road all day, so we decided to order takeout. They were super friendly when I called. We were told it would be 45 minutes to an hour for delivery, but it ended up being a little over half an hour. Not bad since the driver said he was working alone! The kiddo just wanted cheese, so I didn't get to try any of the toppings except the fresh mozzarella. The pizza was so good, as were the bread sticks and dip. This little unassuming pizza joint was EVERYTHING. We were in town for a concert, trying to save some money and figured splitting a pizza would be the best option.
We walked to the restaurant, by the time we got there we were all miserably hot. I assume our waitress must’ve noticed because after taking our orders she brought a fan out. Very attentive even tho she was the only one taking care of all of the tables.
