Five stars for the history, simplicity, friendliness and cold beer. I’m not going there asking for an old fashioned or margarita. But after a break in driving, or enjoying the river, this bar is it. The bar is as old as the state, survived a fire and continues to operate..Support these folks, and others bars alike. They are a hub of this town and other small towns.

Stopped in for some beer and food. Sadly, the food selection was either heated frozen pizza or corn dogs. However, the staff, and a local, were very friendly and it was still worth the stop to see this historical place.

The service and atmosphere were outstanding, fitting one of the oldest bars in the state. I had cheese pizza with jalapeños and was great!

This is a local no frills bar! Super cool history and friendly staff. No beer on tap, but a good selection of cans and bottles and reasonably priced!
