Bombay Grill’s Tasty India

Very disappointing takeout experience. I ordered off a delivery app and they accepted my order. There was a woman cleaning when I got there and no one else. She had to call in the cook, who arrived about 20 minutes later and made my food quickly. They had no system in place to actually monitor orders. The dish I got was very sweet and had some ingredients normally not found in Indian food. The rice seemed like it was old.

We were a party of 8 who stopped by after normal lunch hour. One lady cook took our order and prepared some delicious meal of dhaal tadka (lenthils), biryani and tawa rotis. All served at right temp. We were on our way to ferry port and were on fixed schedule. Our host cum cook took care to get us food on time. Place is rustic but food is authentic, simple and delicious.

Absolutely horrible service. Told 10 minute wait. It was actually 40. The lady was yelling at me and other customers and her employees. What can you expect from a business that also has to have a huge orange sign on their door saying they sell alcohol to minors. Will never return. Would not trust with cooking if that’s how they run business.

Their chana masala is fantastic, their naan is delicious, and their service is helpful and friendly. We rolled in with a big group with children, and they did a wonderful job accommodating us. The spice levels went from 1 to 6, which made it really easy to fine tune the heat to exactly what we each wanted, and make sure the kids had something they could eat. We all felt really taken care of the whole time.

This was an amazing experience, and I definitely recommend that you go here!

Pay no need to the negative reviews. Those people have no tongues nor humanity. The place does not look fancy. It does not have matching plates. It does not have fancy silverware. These things do not matter. One old woman made all the food, and it was some of the most delicious food i have ever had in my life. I will be thinking about this meal for decades. It was the definition of home cooked. I have never had something so flavorful and rich. It was a transcendent experience. If i lived here i would be here constantly.

The food here was really tasty. The place is not big on atmosphere, but it feels very authentic. We had Chicken Korma and Chicken Vindaloo and both were so flavorful. The naan was delicious as well, and the rice done to perfection.

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. It's awful on every level and facet. And don't get me started on what I know is behind the scenes! The fact that this place is still open for business is baffling. Where is the health department in all this?

My friend and I shared the butter chicken, lamb kabobs and garlic naan and everything was very tasty and enjoyable. Service was quick and friendly. However I do think the atmosphere of the restaurant could be improved as it actually looked closed upon entering. But the food was quite good.

I never write reviews if I did not enjoy a place, but this one is worth the bad review. Do not eat here. The food took an hour and a half for take out, and tasted like it had been reheated after being left out for days. I've never had worse food in my life. Bummer.
