If you are in, near or going to Oak Harbor, WA and are a lover or even just a liker of bbq, Orlando’s Southern BBQ is very much worth the stop! These folks know how to BBQ ! First of all, they are so friendly and welcoming you can just feel the southern hospitality and how proud they are to serve their fabulous food! We each had the brisket and it was the very best we have EVER had! It literally melted in our mouths. The baked beans with their slight kick were A-mazing and the coleslaw was so incredibly fresh and moist. This place is quite large and they have a full bar with entertainment on the weekends. We give Orlando’s Southern BBQ in Oak Harbor WA a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 rating hands down!!

This place really sucks. They were out of several menu options. I got the bbqed beans the amount recieved was not worth the money. Same thing with the Mac and cheese. The amount recieved wasn't worth the money paid. Besides the Mac and cheese was more like soup. Under seasoned as well. The brisket was greasy totally disgusting. In essence a substandard meal with a premium price.

Orlando’s catered an event we were at tonight and it is definitely some of the best BBQ we’ve had. The potato salad is hands down some of the best ever!

My first time here. Food was Ok and had a great time visiting my cousin while shooting pool and enjoying the live music.
Only reason I'm writing a review is to comment on the bartender.one nasty attitude with that one. Rude and unfriendly.
I'll never go back due to her.

Honestly gave it a solid chance but it's kind of just bland. The brisket is dry and tough, and doesn't even pull apart. The potato salad is hot and sweet? So it's just bad mash potatoes. The ribs had small bone fragments in them that I almost broke my teeth on. On top of them being dry as well. The BBQ joint over by the book rack is wayyyy better 100%. The barbeque sauce was the only thing that made the meat edible.. also paid $65 dollars for two plates so definitely not worth the price. BBQ Shouldn't BE EXPENSIVE! We didn't even finish the food so we just wasted the money and we're still hungry.

Picked this place for dinner after reading the reviews. The food was so good - we had the chicken, brisket, baby back ribs, cornbread, coleslaw and the beans. We shared and had leftovers. It looks shady but worth a stop in! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was a great experience.

Tried this out while visiting whidbey island. Daughter got chicken, mac&cheese and potatoes salad. Hubby got brisket, corn bread and beans. I got brisket Cole slaw and pot salad. Cost was 85$. Brisket was dry, potato salad was more mashed potatoes with chunks of potatoes and very sweet. Beans were doused in BBQ sauce, m&c was just ok. Coleslaw not sweet at all and mostly tasted like onions. Corn bread very good! The prices were astronomical for the product of food and quantity. It’s BBQ not steak & lobster! The only service we got was when our food came out. We were there an hr and was asked 1 time if we needed anything. I do not recommend going. Just up the street there’s another BBQ place (hole in the wall) we will try next time.

Way overpriced.. really $6 for a small side of coleslaw. Everything is a la carte, ribs were dry as the Sahara desert. Do not recommend.

This was probably the best brisket we have ever had, and we have had a lot! It was so moist and tender. Everything we had, with the exception of the baked beans, was EXCELLENT. Brisket nachos, 3 meat combo, macaroni and cheese and top it off with 2 banana puddings! We ordered one pudding and it was so good, we got one to go. The baked beans for our taste (3 of us) were too soupy and too spicy, but that was the ONLY negative about the place. They also had live music.
Our two suggestions are, don't close the front dining room when you have music as it is too loud for kids in the only other places that kids can go, and get a better sign so you pop out for drive by non Google or Yelpers.

Hey, y'all! If you're craving some real, down-home southern cooking, you gotta come here! And let me tell ya, don't miss out on the baked beans. They're the best side dish on the whole menu, no doubt about it!

Food was decent but portions are so small for the price you pay. Prepare to clean your own table after you finish eating. We had a group come and everyone liked most of their food. Very nice restaurant layout.

Baked beans are seriously perfect. Also had brisket and cornbread. All great. Many more things to try that I'm looking forward to.
