💡 First visit: I ordered the crab melt. Simple, right? But then Aubrey—the bartender, the vibe-setter, the lighthouse in this Shack—leaned in with a secret only legends share: “Swap the bread for a quesadilla.” My life changed in that moment. Every bite? Waves of flavor crashing like the Pacific itself. I left haunted—in the best way—craving it for months until I finally returned.

🦀 The Crab Cocktail: Not filler. Not fluff. Just thick, pure, ocean-born crab stacked high, the kind you dream about on long drives home. Each bite whispers: This is why you came to Ocean Shores.

🍸 The Cocktails: Aubrey doesn’t just pour drinks—she crafts experiences. Every glass carries laughter, energy, and a reminder that joy is meant to be shared. She’s magnetic, unforgettable, the kind of bartender that makes you feel like family from sip one. I tried to leave her a massive tip, but the system doesn’t allow it. That broke my heart—because when you have a star that bright, you want the world to know.

Bennett’s: Farrah, I encourage you to show the same courtesy to all guests. It was disappointing to feel overlooked—especially given. Our table was left without attention or acknowledgment. Took 40 minutes to get order, messed up order, so had to wait another 20 minutes. Made another order to go & they didn't put the fries in.

Best prime rib sandwich I've ever had.

Food was great. Atmosphere was amazing. Super busy on a Saturday but that was to be expected. Kids liked it. Crab cakes were more cake than crab but still good. Would come again.

3rd visit to Bennetts, and this was disastrous. Halibut and chips, Rancid oil, and questionable fish. Fishy taste, rancid, acrid oil taste all night. Upset bloated stomach and belly pain later. Never going back. Bad OIL! Was it halibut? Didn't flake like it!

Line up at the door. Order your food at the counter. Pay. (Default tip is 25%) Go find a table . Put your number sign where it can be seen. They bring your food and never talk to you again.
I've been there before and thought the food was great, but this visit it was just okay. My chicken sandwich was actually two breaded chicken strips rather than a chicken patty. Fries were cold. My friends grilled crab (or lobster?) sandwich was cold. Also they only have $4 bottles of water - no ice water, so just be aware incase you want water with your meal.
Could've overlooked the mediocre food, but the poor service AND mediocre food was disappointing.

Good atmosphere but very very expensive. Would have been 4 stars but they asked for a 20% tip at the register just for taking my order. Customers don't appreciate that. There's a tip for you.

Came specifically for the crab and was quite disappointed. Got the crab melt but unfortunately I could not taste the crab much- it was mixed into the big ol blob mixture of (a lot!!) mayo, celery, onion and whatever else. Should have just been crab only. Maybe a tiny bit of mayo. Fries were good. Service was nice.

I went here during the weekend of Furvana and it was really good.

The food was amazing! For the price, they don't skip out on portions. I don't always eat very much, so taking it with me, I was able to get about three meals from a single one. I ordered the fish tacos, which was more like fish taco ingredients in the shape of a burrito. It was delicious! I'd highly recommend it. The fries were good too.

I noticed they had unique local sodas here, but I ordered a water before realizing they had them, so I didn't get to try one.

As far as the atmosphere, it was nice! You can eat inside or outside.

The management seems to really know what they're doing. They were super kind and welcoming to the congoers, and even went out of their way to give us stickers.

The cashier was very observant and had great customer service. I waited in line to get a to-go box, and before I even got to the front of the line, they anticipated what I was going to ask and multitasked. Food service is not an easy job, but these people are great at what they do.

I hope this place continues to do well.

Honestly I was worried the food would be really greasy at first and was going to avoid getting food there until the staff went out of their way to walk across the street to the convention center just to hang out and pass out stickers. They're freindly atmosphere and staff instantly had me sold so my group decided to stop by. So glad I didnt miss out cause the food was super fresh and I didnt feel like crap after eating it. So we went back later for dinner as well. It's nice to see small buisness interact with the community. Ill definitely be back next time im in town.

Staff are so friendly and the food is amazing, we came in late at night and I forgot my water bottle as we were leaving- the stsff chased me down as I was leaving to make sure I got it back 🙏
