Bennett's Fish Shack

Food was really good. Service was just ok. Atmosphere was what you would expect for a fish shack.

Wife ordered a Salmon Caesar salad, was supposed to come with avocado which was the main reason she ordered it, but avocado was missing. We let a staff member know to which she told us their avocados weren’t ripe and were all hard so they chose not to include it in the salad. No offer to exchange it for another ingredient, they literally attempted to sneak my wife her dish missing the 2nd most expensive ingredient from it. The waitress was very irritated we even brought it up and had an attitude that ruined our dining experience. We didn’t get compensated in any way for the missing part of the dish, yet full price was paid for the dish. $23 for a salad that was missing parts is not a good experience and the experience we had was totally ruined by that staff member.

Always go to Bennetts when we're at Ocean Shores. Never disappointed.

Disapointed with half of the 4 meals we got... but was a cute place and friendly service.

After reading other reviews, we settled on Bennett's for dinner while in Ocean Shores and were not disappointed. We were greeted by friendly owner Brad who explained the menu and answered all the questions of these land-lubbers. The Dungenous crab and cheddar melt was a little tasteless but the battered cod was great and the clam chowder was outstanding. I was surprised by the large portion of cranberry coast salad that came with the sandwich--a meal in itself--and it came home with me as leftovers. Overall, a great place with good food and friendly service and it showed with a full dining room at dinnertime.

RAW CHICKEN WTF
Absolute worst experience ever first time trying it had a hair in my clam chowder no big deal had them exchange. It came back a few days later to have a raw chicken on top of a salad not the way I wanted to in my vacation and absolutely disgusting experience will never go there again.

We had a great time at the shack. Lindsey was amazing. My great nephew loved her, EVEN if she was going to FRY up his new shark😄. Food was fabulous and the servings huge. I’ve had a hard time finding good fish and chips, so it was a surprise, So it will be my for sure go to when I’m in town. Thanks again Diana Tacoma, WA

Had to update my review. Went there for lunch today and EVERYTHING was awesome. Prime rib melt was absolutely fantastic. Food , service and atmosphere were all amazing. They went from one star to five stars. Keep it up Bennett's.

The food here is pretty good. We eat here quite a bit. We might not come back for a while because you can no longer get a glass of water with your meal. If you want water, you have to buy a bottle of water from them. As if the food isn't expensive enough.
