tasty tacos and burritos, taco Tuesday is the best deal in this or any other
tacos are amazing but everything else is kinda average. My girl felt the cheese was too burnt on the quesadilla and barely ate half of it. When I went in to possibly get some more tacos in exchange because the rest of the quesadilla went to waste, Marty gave me attitude about how much she ate. not cool but I’d go back for those tacosedit: the fact is she didn’t enjoy it at all and she was trying to eat it even though she didn’t like it. I took a bite to see and I agreed with her it wasn’t good. I could see it being a problem if the whole thing was eaten, but it was literally half of it even though she tried her best to eat all of it. It’s not that big a deal and to what you said in reply, I’m pretty sure most places would offer a replacement or some sort of refund for something like that if it was served like that. Next time don’t give your customers attitude about your bad quesadillas and maybe you would’ve gotten a 5 star.
As others have said, it's a pretty small menu. And as they've also said -- as long as you do those things right, it doesn't matter. And Fat Marty's does do it right --- my carne asada tacos were THE BOMB. So perfectly salty and meaty and fresh, really really fresh. We also had a burrito and my mom, who is a tough customer, loved it. So yeah -- the food is great. The restaurant itself is pretty bare bones and we couldn't get a cup for our root beer but those things won't stop us from coming back and bringing the rest of the family because WE LOVE GOOD TACOS!!!!!
Clean and friendly service. Limited menu right now, but the chicken tacos were delicious.
I live in Ocean Shores and have always wanted to come here but I've never been able to find the place. Well today I finally found it and it is the best Mexican food I think I've ever had! It's Taco Tuesdays and I wish I would have got 20 tacos instead of 5. My mother agrees she wants more tacos too! I will be back every Tuesday! For real! My Pembroke Welsh Corgi is begging for more even and she is picky. 5 STaRS! The only thing I recommend have a sign on the street so it's easy to find because if I just saw the sign I would have came in a long time ago so yeah other than that your food rocks!
Support your small businesses. Fat Marty's is essentially ran by one guy, with the help of a friendly cashier/waiter.Menu is simple at the moment, but thats not a complaint. At the time of this review they are still in a soft opening as they have moved into a new location that is much more open and cleaner than the previous spot.Food is good and he doesn't skimp at all on the portion size. You definitely get your money's worth. Ive been slightly disappointed on a lot of the restaurants at ocean shores, but not at Fat Marty's.
We decided to give this place a try. The menu is pretty simple: taco, burrito quasidilla, nachos, and a few others. There is nothing wrong with that as long as you do those things right, and right they are. We tried the asada taco, asada nachos, and asada "small" burrito. The food was fantastic. We will definitely be stopping again when we are in town.Side note: I don't care for guacamole and forgot to have it removed from the nachos. I think this is the first guacamole that I actually enjoyed and don't know how to feel about that.
They're still on soft opening so not everything is in place yet BUT the food is great! Had the tacos with pollo asada. So good and lots of filling. My friend had the carnitas burrito which was huge and very tasty. Can't wait for the grand opening
This was such a treat, we had burrito's. I had the small, he had the Fat Marty, clear a difference in size.Plus we had Fantastic out of glass bottles, it was a nice touch.
Excellent food as always! Marty's tacos are the best! Running a soft opening now. Hard opening is in January, I believe!

So good! We rolled into town super hungry. We saw Fat Marty's on the restaurant list and can't pass up a good taco. We ended up getting the barbacoa burrito and the asada quesadilla, and they were both delicious! They were also HUGE. We will definitely be having this for lunch tomorrow too. They had lots of yummy meat, fresh ingredients and a very friendly atmosphere. I am glad we got to take part in their soft launch. Hopefully they are here for a long time!
Great place. Marty was super friendly. Ordered the Asada quesadilla. It was huge! Excellent tortillas and filled with meat. The different salsa choices were great as well. Will be back for sure.
first of all it looked really run down or very new to the point that they didn't even have trash cans in the place. The only thing to drink was a can of sprite or a can of root beer. Not even water was available. I got an asada quesadilla. It was NOT good. Mostly cheese and meat. NO flavor to it at all, really plain. The meat tasted like it was boiled and not cooked on a griddle. A lot of fatty pieces in the quesadilla too. The sour cream was thinned out like watery ranch. The following morning was the WORST for my body....I will NEVER eat there again!
Delicious taco's. If your out this way its definitely worth stopping in for some amazing street style Mexican food. A++++++
Planned our day around having dinner here. Says they're opened 3pm - 8pm on Wednesdays, online and on the door of the restaurant. We were here at 6:45pm, and no one was here. Unfortunately with other places closing between 5pm and 7pm we ended up with McDonald's, disappointed.
