A little place by the coast. Service is quick and friendly, the chips are good and the salsa's got just the right amount of bite for my tastes. The chips and the refried beans were clearly made in-house; the beans were, unfortunately, watery. As with other Mexican restaurants hereabouts, the rest of the food was very bland. I enjoyed myself, but I have to be honest here - there's a reason for only three stars.
The first thing you see here is the cranky old man at the desk inside the door. I don't know if he had just had a long busy day or if he is always rude and abrupt but it wasn't a great introduction to wanting so spend money here. I don't have a problem wearing masks in public but the snarky way he demanded to know if we were all fully vaccinated or we could leave was frankly a violation of privacy on top of being rude.The waitresses are the ONLY good part of this...
We got our food in a timely manner and it tasted great! The staff was friendly and very attentive. I would have given them a 5 but the chips were a little heavy. I was glad to see they were following COVID guidelines and hope to visit them again when we make our way back to Ocean Shores.
