Came here after reading all the good reviews... was very disappointed.Burger tasted like it was from costco (pre-made frozen and no flavor). Brisket appy was kind of cold and mediocre.Outside area was nice with fire place, but the inside area was just- meh.Service was good!Overall, wished we went somewhere else.

Update: Usually we love this place, but today we got exceptionally bad service. We waited for almost 30 minutes on the patio and our server never even came to get our drink order despite going inside after 15 minutes and asking for service. The sad part is that we saw 4-5 groups come in after us and get helped immediately. I'm really disappointed with this.We always come here for their delicious prime rib dips, but gave their brunch a try today and was not disappointed. They have one of the best chicken fried steaks I've had in a long time. House made, fresh, crispy, and smothered with a delicious sage gravy.

The tiny little community is so amazing in a sense that it is its own atmosphere. Like it's in Ocean shores but it's not. Like the staff are insanely friendly and the food looks absolutely amazing! If you haven't been here yet please stop by even to just grab a burger. It's worth

My fiancée decided to come here during our vacation for a nice post-valentines day dinner. We arrived and were seated, and our waitress told us she would be back to take our order. She clearly forgot about us, and we watched her take orders from other tables that were seated after us. The couple at the table next to us even noticed and apologized. Finally a different staff member took our order. We both ordered steaks, and mine was supposed to be medium, however it was visibly more rare than my fiancées steak that she ordered rare. It was almost purple in the middle and cool. When I asked the waitress if it would be possible to have the steak cooked a little bit longer, she immediately began acting defensive and made me cut the steak in half to prove it. She insisted that it was a “perfect medium” and was rude and condescending. She eventually did take it back to the kitchen, and my fiancées food got cold while we waited an extremely long time for it to be brought back. When I got it back it was so overcooked that it was borderline burnt and inedible. It was a very disappointing experience. We hardly ever decide to spend money on a nice dinner out and hopefully this can stop someone else from wasting their money.

We have always loved this place for lunch. This was our first dinner here. It was busy and we did have a reservation however we were expecting to have our order taken at least for drinks before 30 minutes went by. I'm being pretty generous at 30 minutes. The people that came in after us ordered before we did. The food has always been excellent but my salmon wasn't hot. It was luke warm. The waitress was taking people's dishes away from other tables before even taking our order. I tried to be patient but it was quite a wait to what we are used to here. I'm not sure what the problem was that Friday but we will probably not go again for dinner. We drive from Westport to eat here and it's our go to place. We will stick to lunchtime from now on.
