Great experience! I’m in town for a training and was looking for breakfast and coffee. I was a little disappointed with the lack of options, but Free Bird Espresso saved the day!
The staff were kind, courteous, and quick!
I initially was just going to get coffee, but decided to take a chance on their breakfast sandwich. I got the ciabatta, sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich. It was delicious. The ciabatta bun was hot, soft, and chewy. The espresso shots were smooth. When I return to Okanogan, Free Bird Espresso will be my coffee shop.

I came all the way from Middle Tennessee and was told this was the best coffee in the area. SPOT ON!!! MY almond latte was the best I have had in several years. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Better coffee than the Pump House in Omak, and they actually keep consistent hours!
The girls in Omak will often leave an hour early, but turn off their sign 30 mins before the hour. I get coffee daily in the evenings as someone on an Asian time schedule, and despite showing up an hour: usually an hour and a half before closing, 4 out of 7 days their sign is off. I have waisted hundreds of hours of my life driving up there, just to turn around. Don't waist your time, their coffee is mediocre at best regardless. Free Birds is much better, they're actually OPEN during their hours advertised.
If you're middle aged Anglo trash like myself, how could I not patron a business inspired by Lynyrd Skynyrd?!

The nicest baristas you will ever meet, and the best coffee I've ever tasted. As a person from Seattle, that's a tall order, but Free Bird never disappoints! Any time I'm in town, I have to stop there and get their amazing coffee!

I always knew their iced latte was the best. But, you gotta try their blueberry muffin! It's the best I've had in ages. Crunchy top, soft middle, tons of blueberries!

I don't know why I keep going back there. I do like their convenient location but my coffee drink is always unpleasant. It tastes like the smell of a fish pond if that makes sense. I'm not sure what causes this as the place is very clean maybe it's the coffee brand. The girls were busy chatting amongst themselves this last time so I waited a bit longer than usual even though I was the only customer at the drive thru.
Have alternative "milks" -we got oatmilk Latte and Mocha and an americano. All 3 superb. They also had muffins. My husband and mom report they were good. The staff was super helpful. 3 beverages, 2 muffins for about $20. A good deal. Also, Teddie 🐾 says the dog treat was yum.

I really enjoy this coffee stand when we drive thru Okanogan. They're pretty consistent at making our coffee, which is something we like when ordering outside of the "usual."

So I used to love coming to FreeBird. As of lately though, the feeling of judgement & fairly rude when getting my usual Especially when you dont have enough money to tip because the prices are 6.00 for a coffee. (Caramel latte) Insane!! Used to be super awesome place to go but with the attitude I'll just take my business else where. =)
