Stockyard Cafe Too Brewster location

Great food and friendly service.

I tried placing a to go order and was refused due to you guys being too busy. Don't turn away customers and then compliain about lack of business. I hadn't eaten there for several years and now likely won't for several more :( I would think a to go order would be simple enough as you dont have to bus my table, fill drinks, etc.

Stopped in today after Okanogan Harvest Fest for lunch around 11:30. The place was packed! The crew did an awesome job with how busy it was. We were seated at the bar and the waitress let us know it would be a bit since so many tables had just been seated. No biggie! She was back in 5 mins and took our order. She gave us a heads up it would be a while due to the number of orders, but that makes perfect sense when it’s a very small crew and kitchen. Frankly this isn’t a place to go for fast food, you go for good food. And the food was GOOD! It came out in a reasonable time as well. I wouldn’t have had it any other way.

Great and plentiful food. Great and friendly staff. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants great food. The young man that owns the business and his crew go out of their way to make sure you get what you want and how you want it. On a very busy day you may have to wait a bit due to the size of the grill and the size of the restaurant. They will work hard to get your food to you as fast as they can! The wait is worth it!

Almost didn't stop as we passed by. The building looks a bit rundown, but we trusted the other Google reviews and went in.

We went into the Stockyard so that I could order a breakfast sandwich because it was after 11 o’clock/almost noon and I had not eaten. The older couple sitting next to us were complaining about not getting served but I thought “”It’s okay, just a little wait” By 1245 the guy out of the kitchen came to ask how I wanted my egg with my egg sandwich cooked. I just told him actually I am going to cancel that order. (It was me, my husband and my 9 month old daughter) He started being very rude and yelling at me and telling me that that’s money walking out the door. I told him he had not even started cooking my breakfast sandwich after an hour so yes, I’d like to cancel. He got even more rude. I told him we would be happy to pay for our orange juice and our coffee but we had already been waiting an hour and I would just go somewhere else and eat. He told me that there are other people in the restaurant and we are not the only ones that are hungry. Uh…. There was a  group of older men sitting in a circle around a table, drinking coffee and visiting. There was no lunch rush…He said it was a lunch rush. I said what rush there’s nobody in here…. The waitress was flirting with some dude at the counter, who also was just drinking coffee, but she didn’t even ask if we needed coffee refilled or apologize about the wait or anything. Terrible Service. On the way out, The guy in the kitchen screamed that we were not welcome back there. With service like that I would never go back there anyway.  I imagine that those are not the owners, because I would like to think that the owners would be very humiliated at the service that those people are giving.

Stopped by for lunch on Sunday @ 12:45 but was told that they were open for drinks but they were closed for food and the grill was shut off for an hour already...Time to update your hours because Google shows open until 4pm. I suggest if anyone is looking for lunch on a Sunday, stay on the highway and press on.

Burnt ham in omelet and out of hashbrowns...not impressed..

Inside the American Legion building huge portions, great prices. sausage and bacon were larger than typical and yummy.

SOMEONE don't know the STOCKYARD....... Your MISTAKEN if you think you DON'T get toast with your breakfast meal ALMOST ALL meals come with toast don't listen to ?? DJ
