A Chinese Mexican restaurant, go figure. We sat at the bar and Artie the bartender served us. He was great and made a really good cesar. The drinks were pricey in my opinion, food was reasonably priced. The quesadilla was really good. Huge and really full of quality ingredients. The sweet and sour shrimp and spring rolls were very good. The chow mein was different. Looked like spaghetti, just noodles and a few veggies in it. It was as not authentic chow mein and was ok. Would return again and would pass on the chow mein and would try the other Mexican dishes

Finally! Almond chicken! I had been craving almond chicken for the longest time and it and the fried prawns were just as I remembered them. It may no longer get be the China star but it was great and nostalgic non the less ?

Depends on what you order. The Mexican is consistently ok. The Chinese is hit and miss, mostly miss, anymore. Tonight we had take out. Two combinations. The General Tso chicken was lousy. Not bad; absolutely inedible. Wife said it had a distinct cooked in rancid old cooking oil taste. Both had fried rice. Looked like fried rice, but near mush consistency. Flavor was bland. My sweet and sour chicken was just, ok. Once the dry unglazed pieces at the bottom were dredged into the pooled sauce. It seems the cook got lazy. Last time for us. This makes about 3 out of about 6 times we threw something major out. That's on us. We had hope. PS, you can see by the reviews that something changed since six years ago. But the current posts are consistently bad. Stay away.

I was out front having street tacos, perfect for a Friday night ? yum yum yum ?
Mediocre food with a distinctly unMexican atmosphere. The music is rap/ hop hop more suited for a "gringo" bar. They also serve Chinese food so the identity ambivalence probably distorts the genuineness of either ethnic food. In addition the prices are unrealistically high for the unexceptional food they serve. To top it off our waitress had the most unwelcoming rude attitude I have ever experienced in a server. Omak has many other Mexican restaurants that actually are genuinely good. This one is nothing to "crow" about.

It's really something special when they can make Chinese food and Mexican food equally well.

The food was really good, not great due to the dry shrimp, but my father's prawns were perfect. The skirt steak and chicken were seasoned well. Our waited was amazing, very friendly, and checked on us constantly. The atmosphere I gave 3 stars only because the bar was playing country music on the juke box, Hispanic music playing over the restaurant speakers, and mariners baseball on the TV so it was hard to focus on one sound. Overall, it is a very good place to eat. Both the Chinese and Mexican food is good.
