I stopped here for dinner on my way to my night's lodging. It was an odd experience. The waitress could not have been any nicer but the food was pretty greasy and on the bland side. Prices were fair for the portions but, given the size of the local Latino population, I was surprised at the food quality. Also, the first three things I requested on the extensive menu were unavailable. That included the lemonade from the drinks menu. I don't think I have ever experienced...
Because the place had a drive-thru window I thought it was going to be a fast food type Mexican food place but I was surprised when we walked in to find a regular sit-down Menu restaurant very clean very nice friendly people and well worth coming back for even though I don't live anywhere near here. When I open the menu I thought man these prices are a little bit on the high side but not too bad until my food came out you can see the two pictures I posted of my chimichanga...
Helpful service, beautiful murals, great food! Highly recommend the 3 Lovers platter (more expensive), arroz con pollo, picadillo ranchero enchiladas, and the ceviche. The rice was especially good.
