Arrived today in Packwood, wanted to get us some Mexican food so went to “Nacho’s Mexican Restaurant“. It was quite crowded so we guessed the food should be nice. The staff was working hard and we could understand we had to wait for a moment. The problem is that the staff in no way made it clear that “we” (and other people waiting in line) were noticed. No hello, a smile, a wink or eye-contact in general. After ten minutes and six people behind us, we felt very uncomfortable and decided to leave the restaurant to get our food somewhere else. With service and hospitality in mind, based on our experience not recommended.
After reading other reviews on google it seems that the behaviour we noticed is common practice.

Dropped in with 9 friends. Wendy memorized our orders and quickly returned with steaming hot dishes perfectly prepared and deliciously presented. The portions are huge and the prices ridiculously low. We will definitely be returning…and sharing a dinner.

The atmosphere is enjoyable, making it a place where tastebuds can have a fiesta. The food was delicious, with dishes like arroz con pollo that could probably feed two people. Many customers found the el pastor tacos and a side of rice had huge portions. They kept serving chips and delicious, fresh salsa. The margaritas were refreshing. The people here are extremely kind and were quick and pleasant. The owner even made sure to get a lost card back. Even when super busy, they were very attentive and got customers seated quickly, bringing plenty of chips and salsa. Prices are good, and while the guacamole was not very good, the salsa, refried beans, rice, and entrees were good.
