Great food. Reasonably priced
Annual stop after Alta golfing…Great food and service
Great breakfast at a good price
So I ate down the road at another place and when I suggested that we try this one I was told it was the same owners. In my mind I figured that’d mean the food was just as good as the cafe down the road. Well when I got here to order, the menu was the exact same as the cafe down the road. Two different places with two different names but the same menu. That was highly disappointing. I could have drove to the closer location had I known they used the same menu.
One of best places in the valley to grab breakfast- haven’t had anything I didn’t like there in the last few years I’ve been in the area. A tried and true type joint
Fantastic diner. Great menu. Affordable. Clean & welcoming. Comfortable & solid service with an interesting menu. We'll be back sooner than later. Thank you!
Cynthia was outstanding! Great suggestion. The food and other Wait staff were grand!

Had such a delishous meal at Huckleberries (sister location) we had to stop by. Glad we did!! Another delishous meal. Today I had the Eggs Benedict with avocado and diced potatoes. Super yummy. My husband had the meatloaves omelette with biscuits and gravy. He technically ordered the bowl but the omelette was still super tasty. We splurged and got pancakes also. Man the size on these bad boys, Wow! Flavor was also on point and well cooked. Something that can be challenging with this size. Great job guys!
Kid-friendliness: Totally kid friendly
Wheelchair accessibility: Husband uses walker no trouble getting in or seated. No steps or big ramps

Gives roadside diners a great name. Portions are healthy (don't come alone and order the pancakes like I did). Very busy but outside seating available. Staff was pleasant and attentive

Roadside cafe that served us excellent French dips, and BLT. The piece of peanut butter chocolate cream pie did not make it home with me - the first bite, oh my goodness!

Looks like a truck stop but it’s a “must stop” if you are traveling over highway 2. A perfect break from the cacophony of chaos that is Leavenworth on any given weekend and worth the 20 minute drive. I know everyone raves about the breakfast, as do I, but I would prefer to focus on the lunch menu. But first, the service. I have never had bad service here. There are few places I will go out of my way to stop at but this is one of them even if only for the service (hint, the food is amazing too). The servers are always friendly and chat up strangers the same way they do the locals. I love it.
Now the food: I’m a purist and prefer to stick to comfort foods when traveling/camping (don’t need to be eating something weird and having to find a rest stop on short notice). This place has the best comfort foods! My hands down favorite is the hot turkey sandwich. It’s amazing and tastes exactly like the hot turkey sandwiches my grandmother made when I was little. The green beans are perfectly made with just a hint of sweet, a hint of tangy, and a hint of onion. It’s perfection. I have to be careful not to fill up so as to leave room for berry pie. The salads are always fresh, I think they make the dressings in house, and though I don’t eat beef, I am told that the burgers are pretty damn tasty. The trucker burger is a fan favorite with my traveling companions.
If you’re camping in the area you must plan to eat at least one meal at the Big Y. And the staff know some of the best hiking trails in the hills.
Big Y, may you never change…and please always keep the turkey sandwich on the menu!!

4 days trip in Leavenworth, we turned up every morning for breakfast here. DELICIOUS !! and the side dish pancake, it's getting bigger than the previous day, it's sooo yummy, just I have to pack it in the box coz I can't finish it. Very Friendly staff and easy parking. It's out of the town, but it's so worth it!
