We got there about an hour before close and we were informed our only options were soup or pastry as they were closing the kitchen. The soup was good but closing a sandwich kitchen an hour before the posted close time seems a bit extreme.

Our lunch at Saltwater Cafe today in Point Roberts was a true treat! From the perfectly prepared main courses to the delectable desserts and outstanding service, this cafe is a gem.
The Reuben I ordered was simply divine. The corned beef was tender and flavorful, the sauerkraut had just the right tang, and the Russian dressing tied it all together beautifully on perfectly grilled rye bread. The kids thoroughly enjoyed their grilled cheese, a testament to the care they put into even the simplest of dishes.
We couldn't resist trying an assortment of their baked goods for dessert, and we were certainly not disappointed. Each item was clearly made with high-quality ingredients and a lot of care. Everything was prepared flawlessly, leaving us wanting more.
Beyond the fantastic food, the service was truly outstanding. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made us feel incredibly welcome.
If you find yourself in Point Roberts, a visit to Saltwater Cafe is an absolute must. Whether you're craving a satisfying lunch or a sweet treat, you're sure to have a wonderful experience. We can't wait to go back!

We stopped in for lunch and had a couple sandwiches and ceasers. The sandwiches were delicious, and the ceasers were the perfect spice level. Staff was very friendly and the place had a cozy atmosphere. Would 100% recommend popping in if you have the chance.

The only cafe on site. American authentic. The tipping dilemma is the only annoying thing that can be optimized. Suggestion: constant tip included on the bill. Overall, raise the prices a little. The place needs this cafe! Commitment must be adequately rewarded.
Very disappointed that this cafe was not open when it said it was supposed to be open, at about 12:35 on a Sunday. No explanation or estimated opening time that I could see.
