We decided to visit Point Roberts, and arrived hungry! We liked the menu and the food did not disappoint. I had the spinach salad with added chicken. Everything was fresh and tasty. My partner opted for breakfast, served all day, and enjoyed a bagel with lox, topped with red onion and capers. There was a soup of the day and a variety of sandwiches. We chose to save room for one of the delectable pastries displayed on the counter. While we ate lunch, two different fellows...

Saltwater Cafe was easily the highlight of our visit to Point Roberts. We were curious to see what this corner of the USA had to offer and wanted to feel what it's like to live in a place that is so isolated from the rest of the country. Turns out that there's not much to see and do, with the notable exception of this cafe. Pleasant terraces all around and a cosy area inside. A lovely barista, nice selection of cakes and good coffee.
