Disappointing Food After a Long Hike

We came to Bella Italia in Port Angeles after a long hike, super hungry and excited for a good meal unfortunately, we left disappointed.

We started with the rosemary salt focaccia, which was bland and lacked both rosemary flavor and saltiness. The mushroom ravioli tasted off, more like the frozen kind you could buy at a grocery store. The fettuccine Alfredo was dry and oddly came mixed with some random spaghetti noodles, which just felt careless.

For the price, the food was very underwhelming. The one saving grace was the service our server was friendly and attentive. But overall, we wouldn’t come back

The clams with fettuccine in a light white wine/butter sauce was excellent. My wife ordered the chicken Marsala. She said the chicken breast was perfect.

Suzy was our waitress and she was so kind and sweet.
The mushroom ravioli was definitely a favorite! The geoduck soup was delicious but we think they forgot the geoduck cause we didn’t taste any meat in there.

Bella Italia is such a charming and cozy spot in Port Angeles! From the moment we walked in, the warm atmosphere made us feel right at home. The food was delicious, and the whole experience felt special and inviting. Our server, Suzie, was absolutely wonderful. She was so sweet, attentive, and made us feel cared for the entire evening. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for great food paired with genuine hospitality.

It tooke about 10 years and four tries to finally get the stars aligned to have dinner here with my family. It was a nice experience. The staff was great and attentive, the food was tasty. It's a nice restaurant to try in Port Angeles!

Bella Italia in Port Angeles is an absolute gem, and not just because of its Twilight Saga fame. The cocktails alone are worth a visit — Neil’s Negroni and the “Twilight in PA” were both unique and outstanding.

We started with several appetizers — Bella Meatballs, Bruschetta, Sautéed Calamari, and the Bella Mushroom Ravioli — each one was perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. For my main, I had the Chicken Parmesan, which was hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had. I also tried bites of my friends’ dishes — the Caesar salad with wild prawns and the PA smoked salmon fettuccine — both absolutely delicious.

To finish, we indulged in desserts — Tiramisu, Chocolate Mousse, and Lemon Panna Cotta — each one heavenly, but the tiramisu especially was the bomb! The perfect sweet ending to an already amazing meal.

On top of the great food, the hospitality was exceptional. Our server, Suzy, was prompt, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. Restaurant owner Neil was also present, personally ensuring our comfort and enjoyment throughout the evening — a thoughtful touch that made the experience even more memorable.

Whether you’re a Twilight fan making the pilgrimage or simply looking for excellent Italian food with warm, genuine hospitality, Bella Italia is a must-visit in Port Angeles!

We went there for dinner last night after a hike in Hurricane Hill. We were welcome with very good service and really enjoyed the food. I highly recommend the meatballs, mushroom ravioli, smoked salmon fettuccine and Caesar salad. You definitely need to have dinner there if you pass through Port Angeles ! We also learnt that this is a twilight saga famous restaurant and the mushroom ravioli the dish featured in the first movie !

Liam, our waiter, was the highlight of our experience at Bella Italia. He was very patient and gave us great recommendations for local activities.

The mushroom raviolis did not disappoint, but the Alfredo fettuccine could have been a little better.

We will be back!

I loved this place! Went there with my family of 4 including 2 college age kids. Many seafood options were not available, however, I eat a lot of spaghetti at home and just wanted a basic meal. Their spaghetti was AWESOME! I loved their sauce and meatballs. It was very filling and original tasting sauce (at least for me:-). Our server has been in the business for years and knew how to do his job!!

The most expensive overcooked salmon I’ve ever eaten. To pay 55 dollars for crunchy, dry and unseasoned salmon is a bad experience. The service was lovely even if they did forget to bring my friend’s wine but wow, the food was BLAND and EXPENSIVE. In our group of 7 not a single person finished their food nor thought it tasty enough to pack up. Oh, the food also took almost AN HOUR to arrive.
