Mom and I had a great breakfast! Her French toast was delicious and plentiful. I had the traditional breakfast with bacon and an English muffin. All was yummy and filling. Server was attentive, friendly and professional. Will definitely come again when in PA!

Was traveling home from Forks and searched for a highly rated place to eat breakfast in Port Angeles and this place did not disappoint. I had the best Eggs Benedict and Cinnamon Roll I have ever had! Everyone in my group agreed the food and service and atmosphere was all great! Would definitely visit again.

We had breakfast on Saturday around 10am. The food was very good. The Cinnamon rolls were excellent. Eggs overeasy atop biscuits and gravy had me looking for my stretchy pants. Everything was delicious.

Good, tasty food with excellent service served in spotlessly clean dining rooms. There's something for everyone on the menu and will come back next time I'm in town. ??

We had an excellent biscuits and gravy. The home made cinnamon rolls are some of the best I've ever had. Service was great. Prices are a little high but that's to be expected in this area, quality still matched the price though. We will probably be back as new resident of Port Angeles.

Kid-friendliness: Lots of cute toys!!
Recommended dishes: Creme Brulee French Toast, Cinnamon Roll, Hashbrowns, Gravy
Biscuits and gravy were hot and tasted homemade from scratch. Nice sit down area outside with view of mountains. The cinnamon roll was unique and delish.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly place, lots of cute stuffed animals in the front lobby area, also books and stuff.
The best breakfast in town. Classy atmosphere. And even when it's busy, the staff appears indefatigable. Excellent

Best breakfast in recent memory!...and I go out for breakfast regularly. I seek out new breakfast cafes, eateries, and restaurants. I make new friends so I can have new excuses to meet for breakfast at new breakfast spots. I now have a reason to make several new friends in Port Angeles. The building itself was a gem amidst a small-town business area (there's a Walgreen's across the street). Just driving up I could tell it was going to be different. The interior is tastefully decorated, and the seating is spaced out well (you're not eating on top of the table next to you). It felt a bit elevated over a typical breakfast restaurant (definitely not a diner). We were greeted and seated right away. Friendly hostess followed by a server who was more than friendly...like neighborly. The menu is also elevated, but not to the extent that it's foreign. You can still get eggs and bacon or a good omelet, but there are new options to consider.I had the Montrachet Scramble...herbed eggs, bacon, goat cheese. OMGoodness, it was delicious. We shared the creme brulee french toast... full disclosure: my wife is a pastry chef and makes a wonderful creme brulee french toast casserole...soooo good. She and I both agreed that the Chestnut Cottage version was better! My wife loved here biscuits and gravy and our daughters enjoyed their eggs, pancakes, and sausage. We will go back to Port Angeles for a few reasons and those tripS will always include a stop at the Chestnut Cottage Restaurant.

Came here two days in a row for breakfast while visiting. Both times where great! The food tasted very good, and it came reasonably fast. The service was good and we were never left unattended for too long. The regular coffee is pretty good too.The atmosphere is very cozy and cute, it feels like I'm visiting grandma's house for breakfast, and that's a good thing. The prices aren't cheap, but they aren't outrageous, and you do get served a lot of food. . .maybe too much.
