Small shotgun style restaurant. You can get breakfast or lunch after 11. The bathroom is next door in the Salon. Food was excellent, coffee wa great, service was on top of it.

I had the pleasure of eating shrimp and grits. (I am not a fan of grits.....but). This dish was fantastic! My egg was perfectly cooked. The seasoning was perfect, shrimp was cooked just right. The grits.... were like velvet. They were smooth and creamy. This visit was my second. I don't eat out much, but I will be back to the Haven for an enjoyable meal. Really great food, decent price and I appreciated the service. Very attentive without being up in my face every two minutes. I'm trying to think of something to "criticize". Can't think of a thing:)

Went in with one other person, waiting for the rest of my party of 5. Server told us to sit anywhere. All the tables were 4-tops, so I asked if we could push tables together. She said no, they don't do that. We could sit at separate tables, or at the bar. So we went down the street to to New Day Eatery, which was good!

This is the best breakfast restaurant in port Angeles. The food is outstanding, the service is impeccable and the orange juice is delicious. They have rotating seasonal specials and I’ve never had a bad meal here. We love the atmosphere, and the owners are wonderful. I 100% recommend dining here.

Customer service was amazing and our server was great. Eggs Benedict had an issue, the hollandaise was broken as can be viewed in the picture. A good hollandaise is critical to eggs benny. Burger was a bit below par, patties taste from frozen not fresh beef. Fresh beef is critical for a good burger. Disappointing for a $15 burger. Fries are awesome shoe string style . Coffee would be better if served in ceramic mugs to retain heat and not in a glass cup style. I want to say the server we had was amazing.*Edit to the owners response. My goods and great were for the servers that you hired who do a wonderful job but it wasn't about the food that good was good and great. Her attentiveness to our table was very well done. What the kitchen's doing is not her fault. It's not a food blog, it's a review that is honest and fair. I don't want to have to send food back for the fear of retaliation. Whoever's running the pass should be checking each dish before they're served. I would just prefer it to be sent out correctly the first time. I adjusted to two stars because I think maybe I was being a little too harsh but it is a shame you didn't address the fact that the beef is frozen. Also it'd be better if you came up with a system for the types of coffee that didn't affect the heat of what's being served. In&Out can do an all fresh burger and has a price of $7.55 if we are going to speak of competitors. I hope you take my criticisms to do better for the success of your business as that is the intent of my review. It's not to put you down or make you feel bad about what you do but in hopes that maybe you'll improve. It's not regulars you're trying to impress but people who have never been there. Regulars aren't going to rave to their friends and family about somewhere they eat all the time but new people will. Best wishes
