What a BEAUTIFUL Property!!! A picture perfect view, the cabins were cute and cozy! Lodge, restaurant, bar and gift shop on site. Marymere Falls trail head at the lodge. What a great place to stay. I highly recommend it! I'm so glad we stayed here instead of Port Angeles, we were close to some great hikes in ONP!

DO NOT STAY HERE. It is a complete crap show right now with employees that do not care. The vendor Aramark has lost the contract and as a result the employees do not care. Impossible to get dinner two nights in a row. Employees serving their local friends and ignoring guests. Room is broken down... door broken, missing light bulbs, fixtures broken off the wall, mold and mildew... just really unmaintained. Clearly Aramark just stopped doing anything once they lost the contract. Have stayed here many times... never had this experience before.

Super clean, very well appointed. Phenomenal views .. can't beat the location, right on the lake. Easy hikes around the grounds, very family friendly. 👍🏼

The views are potentially spectacular, and great trails are nearby. On the other hand, the cottage we stayed in was filthy. The bedding was stained (and soiled in places), the bathroom was dirty (grime in the corners, mold and mildew in the grout, shower curtains stained with mildew, etc.), the toilet did not flush effectively (but it did better when we held the handle down for a long time), and more. The electric fireplace was nice. There is NO WAY this cottage should cost what we paid (about $400.00 for one night), especially considering it is not peak tourist season (but we did stay the Tuesday before Thanksgiving). Breakfast, which was not included, did not start until 8 am, which is unsatisfactory for anyone who wakes at a reasonable hour.

We stayed at Lake Crescent Lodge for one night during our Olympic NP visit, and it was such a memorable experience. The bartender was incredibly kind and warm. The lodge allows visitors to relax inside the main building even if they’re not overnight guests, which creates a welcoming atmosphere.

There’s no WiFi in the guest rooms, only in the main building, which includes a small check-in booth, a restaurant, a sunroom with tables, chairs, and puzzles, a large fireplace where friends can gather until it closes at 10pm, plus a gift shop and restrooms.

Our guest room had no electronics other than a coffee maker and hair dryer. It was centrally heated, cozy, with wooden beds and chairs, and a balcony overlooking the forest and the lake. Once the lights were off, it was completely dark and incredibly peaceful. I slept so well despite the rain and wind outside.

The next morning I took a walk on the Moments in Time Trail and finally understood its name. It truly feels like stepping back in time, walking through a place where everything is frozen in quiet beauty, every step brings a new scene; the mist hanging over the lake, tiny orange mushrooms on the fallen logs, and the delicate water droplets on the pine branches all made me want to melt into this serenity.

I didn’t mind the lack of TV, microwave, fridge, or even a clock in the room. If anything, it made the stay feel purer. I honestly wished I could live here forever.

Service is super slow. Go atleast an hour and thirty minutes ahead to place your order.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My friend and I flew all the way from New York for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Olympic National Park, and this lodge single-handedly ruined it. We were literally 20 minutes away when the front desk called to inform us, with no apology, that they had overbooked our room, along with eight other parties. No explanation, no accountability, just “sorry, we have no place for you.”

We were two young women stranded in the middle of the forest, suddenly without a place to stay, and their staff couldn’t have cared less. Every nearby hotel was double the price because of same-day booking, and the lodge offered no financial help, no logistical help, nothing. Our entire itinerary revolved around staying on Lake Crescent, and instead we had to drive an hour away, wasting half our day and hundreds of dollars.

To make matters worse, they’ve ignored every single call and email about our refund, which is the absolute bare minimum they owe us. Every time we call, we get put on hold or told to email a “manager” who never replies.

This was unprofessional, negligent, and downright disgraceful. The lack of responsibility and empathy from this lodge is shocking. Save yourself the heartbreak and stay literally anywhere else.

Cute, historic lodge with a great location. A historic lodge out in wilderness so of course not a 5 star hotel, however the linens were stained and when we asked for new linens every one they brought was also stained with big brown and yellow stains. The rooms also share bathrooms and showers with everyone in the lodge so be aware of that. Cleanliness standards overall were not high, but can’t beat the location on the lake and the cute historic hotel vibes.

The views are absolutely stunning, but unfortunately that's the only positive thing I can say. Our cabin was dirty when we arrived — the shower hadn't been cleaned, the sheets were used, and there were no towels at all. When we asked the host for clean sheets and towels, they simply handed them over without offering to make the bed or clean anything.
We also had to wait over an hour past check-in time to even get access to the room. For the price they charge, this place feels like a complete tourist trap.
The scenery doesn't make up for the lack of cleanliness and poor service. Would not recommend unless they seriously improve their standards.

I can never get enough of this place! I’m an elopement photographer and shoot at Lake Crescent Lodge all the time — it’s honestly one of my favorite Olympic National Park wedding spots. The views over the lake are absolutely unreal, especially when the water is calm and reflecting the mountains.

The cozy cabins with fireplaces are amazing for getting-ready photos (the lighting and textures are just perfect), and the restaurant is so good (a rare find inside ONP!) Staff are always friendly and helpful, and the bartenders deserve a big shoutout — they’ve even signed marriage certificates for a few of my couples!

If you’re visiting Olympic National Park or dreaming of an intimate elopement by the lake, this place is 100% worth checking out.

Lake Crescent is stunning, cabins are beautiful, lodge lobby is fun if you are the social type (board games, puzzles, fire, plus a restaurant)

Although the location is outstanding and the scenery stunning, the buildings/rooms are run down, dirty, and in desperate need of updating. It was a complete rip off for the price, but not many options.
