We rented a room for my friend’s surprise birthday and ended up bringing some Jell-O shots. The bartender barged into the room in front of the birthday girl and demanded that we get rid of all the alcohol. She was extremely rude and very unprofessional about it. I was in shock at how rude she was. There was also absolutely no communication at all that we were not allowed to bring any alcohol into the room. We got rid of all the alcohol as soon as she demanded us to get rid of it. I know other people that have had the same experience. I am not impressed at all.
Went to see my friend sing at the Juan de Fuca festival. Jean Lenke is a local jazz singer and the stage and the Soundsystem did her justice. It was a good experience.
