Food cold, service left much to be desired...Won't be coming back just not worth it.

We got the Elk Burger with Truffle Fries, Loaded French Dip with Fries, and the Mac & Cheese pasta dish. On the Elk Burger and Fench Dip the meat was charred and tasted like the grill was not clean and sticky. The fries were the main star of both of these dishes even though they were the sides. The Mac & Cheese had a great consistency with quality noodles yet the flavor was extremely sub-par and tasted like a can of Campbells Cream of Mushroom Soup. The sever did not seem lively at all and seemed kind of over the job and miserable. The resturant itself was fine, everything was clean and the arrangement of tables and chairs was nice. Although we were a little confused on where to go to get seated at the start of our restaurant interaction. Will probably never go here again because of the poor food quality.

We had 48 Degrees North cater my daughter's wedding banquet. The venue manager, Laurie Thomas, is exceptional. She communicated with us throughout the process, explaining choices, and preparing budgets and room maps as we prepared for our wedding event. She assisted us in be able to prepare the room in advance, which was so helpful. The venue space is gorgeous, newly updated, with beautiful views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The linens, tables, chairs, and extra service areas were spotlessly clean. The food was so delicious! Appetizers (I recommend the spinach artichoke dip), 2 entrees, and sides, all presented in beautiful service pieces. In addition, the servers were wonderfully patient, attentive and helped with everything that we needed. Many thanks to Jamie, the head server, who kept me informed all throughout the event and the lovely bar tender, Makenzie. We didn't use a dance floor, but it is available!!The Red Lion Inn also worked in collaboration with the restaurant to provide a discounted Wedding Package, including a Honeymoon Suite, and discounted room prices for event guests.Highly recommend as an incredible place to host an event in this sweet little town of Port Angeles.Parking: Plenty of space for a group party event.

Service was horrible. Order was incorrect and when it arrived it was cold. The restaurant was cold and the seats were hard. We were really looking forward to trying their food and was very disappointed. Too expensive for what we experienced, not worth it, so won't return again.

Great location, beautiful views. Wonderful staff and restaurant. Sadly, only oatmeal for breakfast and an impossible burger for lunch as vegan options though. Please kindly expand your vegan options. Thank

For several years we made the half-day drive to Port Angeles, to enjoy a great Thanksgiving Day dinner. We'd reserve a table next to the window, and stuff ourselves with all sorts of delectable Thanksgiving wonderfulness while watching the sun set over the water. Sadly, yesterday's Thanksgiving (buffet style) dinner was a bitter disappointment. Although the wonderful sunsets were still there, the quality of the food was not. More than half of the buffet trays were empty (or very nearly empty), and those that actually had some food were cold and pretty tasteless. The dinner rolls tasted like day-old grocery store rolls, the pumpkin-squash soup had the consistency of cold, sticky oatmeal, and the heatlamp keeping the few remaining turkey slices warm was not up to the task. In fairness, the desserts (caramel pumpkin pie and pumpkin cheesecake) were outstanding, and just as good (or better) than in years past. This used to be a "hidden treasure" -- fantastic food matched with fantastic views. For years, we'd eagerly look forward to our sunset Thanksgiving feast overlooking the water. But sadly, those are just memories now.

What happened to this place? Thanksgiving dinner in 2022 was outstanding. This year, 2023, had me saying never again. Hot food was cold and bland and ran out of turkey and ham. A huge disapointment.

Great food and service at a reasonable cost. This was the perfect place after a long day of travel & hiking. The views were fabulous as well!

Not the fancyist, this location offers very good food and service. The menue is somewhat predictable but in a good way and the breakfast service leans in to it's dinner roots ... again, in a good way.dd If you are a newly arrived guest to the attached hotel this is a no brainer in terms of concluding a long travel day. Every time we come to town this is our first dinner stop. Morning breakfast is, again, very, very good.

48 Degrees was the caterer for our wedding at the Field Arts and Events Hall (100 guests) in September.Laurie the catering manager was professional and knowledgeable, guiding us through menu choices and pricing. She met with us several times to make sure that everything was completely planned.Day of the wedding her staff prepared the dining area exactly as I envisioned it. The food was served on time, and was very tasty! Their pleasant and efficient staff circulated throughout the reception keeping things tidy and stocked. From start to finish 48 Degrees absolutely delivered a stellar experience, and were an important and delicious part of our magical day!

I came here and expected good service but did not get it. The food was okay but was served cold. The waitress came out once when she brought me my food. There was a food Runner who I talk to and told her that they only brought me a half a bowl of clam chowder so she brought me more and it was lukewarm. After the meal I talked to the food Runner to pay my bill and the manager who brought me my food was working at the bar and she did not talk to me about it. So the food Runner gave me the soup for free and I left no tip. Not sure if the other servers are good but this woman who was the manager failed miserably. The food was okay but still cold
