Visited for the first time and had a mixed experience. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming, which I really appreciated. I ordered the Scallop Pad Thai—flavor-wise, it was decent, but I’ve definitely had better. I paid an extra $5 for additional noodles, but it didn’t seem like there were any more than usual. The portion overall felt small, almost like a kid’s plate, and it only came with four large scallops—unsure if that’s typical. Also, the noodles were wider than I expected, and personally, I wasn’t a fan of that texture. Not a terrible meal, but I left feeling underwhelmed.

We waited for 40 min but it was absolutely worth it. We ordered pad Thai, khao soi, pineapple fried rice with chicken, and statues chicken. All were fantastic. For drinks we tried Thai iced tea and it was good.

Sabai Thai is one of the best restaurants we went to in Port Angeles. We went on a Friday evening and it was really busy; we were seated at the bar. But service was quick and friendly.

All the food was freshly prepared and tasty. If you like spicy food, then make sure to specify. All the food was on the mild side.

Random, but they had some of the best lemonade I've ever had. A must visit if you're in Port Angeles.

Always busy, for obvious reasons! Best takeout in town. Happy, hard-working people work here!!

I went unsure of what to expect, and was blown away at the whole experience! The service was great, and the food was amazing. I had the Thai tea, we shared chicken satay, and the peanut sauce was the best. I ordered Phad Thai and loved it, the portion was generous, so I brought some home for the next day, and it was still just as delicious. I can't wait to go back again!

Started out great….But then it ALL went downhill from there resulting in this 1 star!!! We decided on what we’d try as this was our first time trying this place out. I always drove by this place when going to work and it was always busy. I also got a great recommendation from a friend. We ordered the special with chicken & emerald curry. We waiting what seem like a normal wait for our food only to be brought someone else’s food!!! I noticed that I had received tofu & notified a server or who was possibly the manager. She was the one that we placed our order with and she pointed out and confirmed that we had probably received someone else’s order & that she would have chicken made which was what I ordered. Once I got my food I then realized that we’re ordering more food for my daughter because she didn’t like the curry. I thought it weird because she loves green curry. We then realized that we had been given yellow curry!!! We said something to a server and the woman who I’m going to say was manager. Pretty much got ignored the rest of our time there waiting for the check. The guy in the floral pants saved the day and would be the only reason we’d try this place again.

Sabai is our go-to dinner spot. All of their curries are wonderful, but pineapple curry is our favorite. We've tried all of their rice and noodle dishes--you can't go wrong with any of them! It can be a long wait for a table, so we usually get takeout. Brian is a fixture at the bar and takeout counter. He's the best: fast, friendly, and efficient.

Vegetarian options: Many great vegetarian options, you can order many dishes without fish sauce or oyster sauce. Staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating.

Parking: Parking lot behind the restaurant fills up fast, as does the street parking along 8th Street in front. You might need to find Street parking on B Street.

There was an accident on US-101 that made us miss the ferry, so we were looking for a place to eat and crash last minute. This restaurant was such a pleasant surprise, we had one of the (if not "the") curry! We also had their shrimp satay, spring rolls, and another crab appetizer and they were all super great!
We had to wait half an hour though, so be prepared to wait
