My poke bowl was so saturated in mayaoniase I could not eat it, looked like a mayonnaise soup. 17.50 and I couldn’t even eat it. Intentionally left those sticks erect in that sludge.

Was really looking forward to sushi and we found this place that had pretty good reviews. The booths have a slight smell like mold/urine? Which is unfortunate.
Waited a bit to order but that was okay. The kitchen did not read the notes we gave the server about a seseme allergy and served us seseme anyway on all items so one member of our party ended up having to pick around items and go mostly hungry. The server did try to let the kitchen know but unfortunately they did not listen. Would not recommend.

Best sushi in Port Angeles. We stop after an adventure in a rainy day. We were really hungry, and Songoku Hibachi didn’t disappoint, the food was incredible. Sushi boat is a must.

The rolls are HUGE! And delicious. The servings are excellent for the hibachi as well. You definitely get your moneys worth here.

I’ve been here several times. Usually it’s alright. Pretty disappointing experience last night. I took my son and my 1 year old here for my sons special day. I walk in and get greeted quickly. We sit down at a sticky soaking wet booth. After several minutes the server noticed we didn’t have menus. he brings us some, and I asked to wipe the table. He does, and it’s all good. I understand what it’s like to be busy! We end up sitting there for a long time without anyone coming to take our order. I saw our server walk past us tons of times obviously busy. My one year old is very hungry and squirmy at this point, so we decide to leave since we didn’t know how long it would be. I’m not even upset at this point. It takes us a couple minutes to pack up and get the baby in the stroller. Our server sees us the whole time and says nothing. We didn’t even make it half way to the door before he says to another server “there’s going to be a table open right there” and points to where we just got up from. The waiting area had people at it they were trying to sit. I was mind blown that we sat there for 30 minutes total and for that to be how it ended… How about take care of the people you have before worrying about anyone else. Maybe they thought I wasn’t going to be worth it since it was just me and two kids. I was going to order three $16-$17 rolls, gyoza, seaweed salad, a beer, a soda, and tip 20% even though the service was slow…

One of our favorite dinner spots in Port Angeles. Izzy is magical on the hibachi. The sushi is always top notch. Jalapeño bombs are a must try. We get them every time.

This is my favorite restaurant in town! My boyfriend and I go here once a week usually. We just can't stay away. The service is excellent and the food is delicious. We love the atmosphere. It could be a great place for a romantic date or a family outing! Bring your spouse, friends, kids! The menu has great variety and I'm sure even a picky eater could find something. Overall love this place and highly recommend it.

They are understaffed, so expect a wait. To be seated, to have your order taken , to get your food and to pay . A wait for all of it . The sumo roll was delicious. My bf and I ordered drinks and our food at the same time. Overall time spent in the restaurant was about an hour.

I was able to find GF poke bowl there that was good. The servers were all really nice and attentive. The one thing I would have loved was a little less dust.

Food and service were honestly mediocre. Maybe I caught them on and off night. Took about 15 minutes to get waters and orders in and nobody checked on us. Still interested to try their hibachi side though. Confuse why you need a reservation for that.....

Sushi okay, fish sliced then enough to see through. Little to no AC. Poor service. No sodas twice now. Flies everywhere inside.
