We are from San Diego and have a cabin close by. We live in an area that has amazing Mexican food restaurants. I never ate Mexican food in Washington. Just wasn't impressed but have been here now numerous times. Some of the best Mexican food and service you can get an we look forward to making this one of our first stops when we come now. High recommend. Owners and service are amazing and the ice cream shop is just as good.

I come here with my family and have always had a fantastic experience. The staff are warm and accommodating even when we are coming in late, the atmosphere is cozy, and our meals are absolutely delicious. I have tried several things here but especially recommend the margaritas and the carne asada and camarones. The steak is seared and flavorful, the tortillas are warm, and the shrimp is very fresh. The freshly made chips, salsa, and guacamole are also fabulous.

Outstanding place! Absolutely worth the drive here. After visiting Port Townsend for the day we were looking for a good sit down restaurant. Food is amazing as well as service. We will return here for sure. They were really busy, but run this restaurant very well and we were eating in ten minutes. The staff were extremely nice and friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

I love Mexican food and have been all around Mexico and the USA sampling authentic Mexican cuisine. Molcajete is in a remote place in Washington state. But they are a hands down 5 star restaurant. Staff is very friendly, food is best I've ever had. And the atmosphere is delightful. I highly recommend Molcajete to everyone.

My husband and I recently moved to Port Ludlow and we actually had lunch at Molcajete after we viewed our new home for the first time. We both absolutely love the food and staff at Molcajete! Every time we eat at the restaurant the service is impeccable, and every time we eat their food it's amazing - whether we're eating at the restaurant or ordered takeout. We're so happy that there's a good Mexican restaurant less than 10 minutes from us, and both recommended the taquitos and street tacos, but everything we've had is delicious (including the margaritas).
