Best barbeque in Washington State, hands down. You get a lot for what you pay for and it's all darn good. The Trailboss (with the jack and cheese and a pickle) is a must have every time I go skiing or pass by Preston. Don't be a hero if you can't handle spice, they certainly won't mess around if you ask for it (but it doesn't need heat to be delicious, so you'll be fine even if you don't like it hot). I could go on, but what I really need to say is: GO THERE, IT'S GOOD.

It's a good quick spot to get some bbq after sports or skiing. They're BBQing is probably more baking than anything. There's waaaaay too much sauce smothering everything.

I've been meaning to stop here for awhile on my way home. I'm glad I finally did!! The BBQ is excellent. The mild sauce is what I prefer as this is just like down South. The potato salad was great and the baked beans excellent. Even a real biscuit!Of course, I have to mention that this is the first time I've ever had the sauce already mixed in my meat. I prefer to sauce the meat myself and I usually give some to my dog.The service was super and fast! I even got a sample of the pepper jack Mac and cheese.I will definitely be back for more!! I've missed good BBQ since I left the South, until now.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a concrete ramp.
We stopped in here after a hike in the area, and we were pretty hungry. The helpful counter dude answered our questions, and then all three members of our party had a Trail Boss combo, which is a bbq sandwich on a toasted baguette with a side and a drink. Daughter had chicken, and wife and I each had spicy pork. They were large and tasty sammies. The side of beans was excellent, as the bacon in it was well cooked, the consistency was like chili, and the seasoning was dope. The spicy mac n cheese was ok--solid flavor, but a little runny. The sides were served in styrofoam, which is an automatic deduction. I liked the rock and country mix on the airwaves, and that they put NFL on the TV. We'll visit again.

Were frequent fliers for a reason. The food is always consistently quality, exactly what we're looking forward to and hits the spot in the best way. Karl Fardman must have been a pretty good dude! Recommend with mild + hooch on the side. Mac and cheese and potato salad are favorites! Pokémon go spin while you wait
