This is a modern reasturant (that has a bit of old school flavor) with a professionally run kitchen overseen by superb wait staff. The salads are fresh, well coated in dressing and not wanting for any ingredients. The chef uses flavor in all their dishes, so you won't need salt or pepper!
We have been returning for years, when we want to celebrate events and be assured of a quality meal. Oh, did I mention price? We left yesterday with a $36 tab before tip. Honestly a great place to have a great meal.

We have had both dinners and lunch here and usually very good food and service. The Brussels sprouts appetizer is fantastic. The filet mignon was excellent. I had the prime rib and it really was not good. About half of it was fat and gristle and both were pretty much throughout the entire slab. Only half was edible. I was pretty disappointed. I told the server at the end of our meal and asked her to pass it on. We will definitely go back again but will not have the prime rib.

Try the potato wedge nachos. You will never eat tortilla chip nachos again.

Bar is easy listening with two televisions. Dining room is comfortable but a bit dark. Also easy to talk even when full.

So, picture this: it’s my wife’s birthday. A joyous occasion. Balloons, cake, maybe a steak cooked correctly. Instead we got dinner theater, and the show was called “How to Ruin a Celebration in 3 Courses.”
Wife’s best friend orders a steak. Easy, right? Wrong. They punch in prime rib instead. Fine, mistakes happen. But instead of saying, “Hey, that’s our screw-up, here’s the prime rib on the house, or we’ll cook your steak and comp it,” they’re like, “Cool, wait another 15 minutes while your friends are halfway done chewing through their meals.” Legendary customer service move.
The New York steak finally shows up looking like it lost a UFC fight with a flamethrower. Charcoal chic on the outside, medium inside. My wife, who actually ordered prime rib, gets something with so much fat it looked like it belonged in a Moscow deli. I half expected the server to offer a side of vodka shots and a fur hat.
Me? I got a brisket sandwich. It was fine. That’s it. Fine. Not bad, not amazing, just “meh.” Like a Netflix movie you put on while folding laundry.
Now let’s talk atmosphere. Imagine dining inside a volcano. It was hotter than a jalapeño in a sauna. Everyone at our table was glistening like we just finished a CrossFit session. When we asked if it’s always this hot, the server goes, “Yeah, the AC’s been broken for over a month.” A month. At that point, just hand out complimentary sweat towels and electrolyte packets with the menu.
The only saving graces: they comped dessert for my wife, gave a discount on the overcooked steak, and praise be, the espresso martini. That drink was so good it almost convinced me I wasn’t melting into the chair. Top 10 martini of my life, though I might have been delirious from heat stroke.
Final verdict: If you like steaks cooked with a flamethrower, dining in a human terrarium, and pretending a single cocktail can save your sanity, this is the place for you. Me? I’ll give it 2.5 stars and a slow clap for the martini.

Great service and drinks, food was mostly good (prime rib was a bit chewy), lots of flys on the patio but the table fans worked great.

Visited 9/20/25. Choose the patio. The Sazerac, amazing. The pork ribeye special, exceptional. Whatever you do, dine inside. The flies on the patio were EPIC causing us to hurry thru the drinks & meal
Great food and a fantastic atmosphere. 10/10 will come again!
