Friday 11/1 7:45pm Dining. My WSET teacher recommended this place but …where do I start ? We made sure to get there at least 40 min before closing. We were sat and had to wait awhile before being asked for our order and it wasn’t even like “good evening thanks for waiting what can I get you” the server literally just stood there ? & said nothing, just waited. ? Umm does the Steps of (basic) service ring a bell ?? Once our wine and food was brought - not once were we checked on… again, basic Steps of Service : checking in on your table and asking if they need anything else…??? Finally we just had to ask a server asst. for the check while our actual server was sitting at a table nearby laughing and talking to : friends perhaps? We weren’t event asked if we wanted dessert or a second glass of wine even though our wine glasses were empty for a long while. I really was just looking forward to a nice evening and dinner with wine in wine country - some place I would never expect empty wine glasses to sit for that long during a dinner. The focaccia was rather flavorless. Pizza very greasy. Great salad! Nice Malbec and a solid Petit Verdot and had a beautiful pizza oven and fireplace tho: ambience = 5 ⭐️; service was 1 ⭐️= 3 ⭐️ Review.

Very accommodating and friendly. The food pairs perfectly with the wines. I never knew that eggplant, golden raisins, pomegranate syrup, z'atar, and pine nuts made such a wonderful dinner with lamb and Rhone style wines. Wow!

What a glorious find! Although it was a beautiful day, we elected inside seating. Ingrid led us to a table and offered menus for wine and food. We picked three small plates (ratatouille, focaccia, cured meats) and our friend ordered half a sweet and savory pizza. Big servings meant we shared everything and it was all memorably tasty and served hot. Wine flights were delicious. And, Ingrid had almost as much fun with the affogato and chocolate torte as we did. Beautiful dining room. Gracious service. Delicious food. Fine wines!

Alex(ander the GREAT) was AMAZING! Offered us a detailed profile of Greek wines and several awesome recommendations. Great location with a cozy loft overlooking the street; this place is a real hidden gem. Very personal service that was definitely a highlight of our trip to Athens! Thank you Alex!

Previously rated 5 starts, the food is always great and we normally have a great experience with staff. However, our waitress last night (5/18/24, older lady with reddish/brown hair) was very rude and slow. We waited 20 minutes for her to come take our drink order after sitting down, which initially, I didn’t think much of, assuming she was busy. After she brought our food, she never returned to see if we wanted a second glass of wine. Never asked us how the food was or if we needed anything. We waited another 30 minutes after we were finished with our food for the check. I was ready with my card when she brought the check but she didn’t take it. She then proceeded to help every other table and disappear into the back for another 15 minutes before cashing us out. When she ran the card that I handed her, she tried to have my dinner guest sign and leave a tip of the tablet!!!

I loved every bit of this place - the garden, the atmosphere, the music, the food, the wine. The wine was so good that I had to get a bottle to go. The service was fantastic. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!
