As an autistic student and member of the broader WSU community, I had high hopes that places like Bravo the Emporium and Cry Abby Cafe would provide inclusive and welcoming spaces beyond the typical Greek Row social scene. Sadly, my experience was quite different.
Both venues, while outwardly charming, seem deeply intertwined with the same exclusive culture that permeates Greek Row—where subtle social hazing and isolation of those who are neurodivergent or simply “different” remain commonplace. For individuals on the autism spectrum, the resulting sense of being quietly but persistently pushed to the margins is both painful and alienating.
It is deeply disappointing that spaces which could have served as creative, inclusive havens instead reinforce social hierarchies and exclusionary norms. My sincere hope is that the owners and community reflect on the hidden harm this culture creates, and work actively to foster an environment where all patrons—regardless of neurological or social difference—feel genuinely valued and welcome.
How pathetic nick
I can’t rate the food because we didn’t eat, but the experience and ambiance was really cool! They had the Big Labowski up on a projected wall, and a really cool retro vibe with the record collection on display. Very fun and upscaled type of vibe. We’d go back, for sure!
Please please please please please fix your blinking lights out front
Amber was amazing there were 18 customers and she was holding down the fort by herself. She kept a great smile and was kind and gentle. I very much appreciated the customer service she gave. She suggested a great drink and it was the most pleasant experience of the night. The vibe was great here.
A bit pricey but a wonderful old school lounge atmosphere.
I'll start by saying Etsi is a great place to go to get a well balanced cocktail. The bartenders seem to know what they're doing, and they're the reason my friends and I keep coming back.
The DJs they hire, however, have been consistently unprofessional, under-qualified, and don't seem to understand their audience. There are no song requests because they can only play what they've downloaded and pre-recorded. They spin knobs that do nothing to look like they're doing something.
My best friend did photography for them and they never got paid like Etsi had promised! It's been years, and they got paid in alcohol. They were not 21. Not a great look for any place.
Overall a good atmosphere, great drinks, and bad DJs. A good piece of info to note, if you're going up to the bar for a drink on a club night expect to be away from the dance floor for about 20 minutes. Not the bartenders fault, just because there's so many people that come out.
Thanks for reading!
Always a good time here. Staff are friendly and attentive, with an amazing drink list. Food's also tasty.
Great place with great vibes, and Grant the DJ is amazing!

Went back upstairs after spending an hour watching the Grand Prix to get some fresh air. Bartenders were great, but was approached by an overzealous person that was asked a questioned by a guest I was taking care of if they were actually a bouncer and they acted in denial while proceeding to ask for my ID. Grant got all touchy with me while acting judgemental because they interrupted me multiple times while I was trying to finish my transaction. Felt really uncomfortable with their enthusiastic attitude and personal space intrusion. Made me lose focus of what I was doing because I wanted to finish paying for my drink and watch the rest of the show.I immediately left after paying instead after witnessing him toast a shot of alcohol with a group of people, which bewildered me even further about professionalism.

You want STAND-UP COMEDY? This is where to go.
I've never eaten or drank there, so I can't comment on that- I've only been for the "Best of the Palouse" comedy nights, and they are Top Notch.
Absolutely amazing!!!! My favorite place to dance the night away. Great drinks, awesome staff, super fun dj’s and swanky atmosphere!
Delicious cocktails and magical vibes! The night club is also great! 100% recommended their Tiki Tuesday drink menu!!!
