Place was amazing. Came in on a recruiting trip and one of the WSU football coaches said it was a must so went in and grabbed some to go. Place is really really good. The people inside were awesome as well. Will definitely go back when my son is there next year.

Most unreliable hours. I’ve been there several times where the hours online say they should be open though no one is around. Decent food for the 1 out of 10 times they are open.
Food: I tried both the Mochiko chicken and kalbi plates. I was hoping for a Hawaiian plate lunch experience but let down by the mini size portion in the regular plate container. The amount was so minimum that the food was shifting back and forth as it was carried to the table. The advertised seasoned rice in the plate lunches were unseasoned and mushy, porridge-like texture. Mac salad was decent however the potato salad was too salty. The mochiko chicken was not the mochiko chicken I expected but instead was chicken katsu (panko breaded chicken pieces). The kalbi was okay but the small portions were downside. Definitely not worth the price.
Service: the staff was nice but they should provide napkins with the forks for takeout food.
Atmosphere: The eating area was nice and open with a play area great for the kids. Just needs more routine cleaning, tables and chairs had caked on dust.

The food was amazing!!! My bf and I have been wanting to try Malo’s for over a year now. We finally decided to go and got the works plate, so we could try everything. 10/10 recommend going here and getting food!! The food is amazing and the workers were so friendly. Our favorite dish was the Mochiko Chicken :)

Phenomenal food, great portions. We got "The Works" with 4 entrees and 4 sides. The food tasted amazing and the meat was authentically grilled. By the end of it we still had enough food to barely fit in a to-go box. Definitely a must try place in the area. Also seating is shared with a bar, so we got fresh root beers to go with our meal.

Edited : Absolutely god awful service, I place an order online just for them to cancel the order, AFTER I ARRIVED. I then call them to ask them about it, just for them to not answer my calls and eventually block my number. Food looks good but that is unacceptable, don’t allow online orders if you are going to cancel it after it should be ready.
Edit: If my review Is “Completely innacurate” fix your hours on google because the order was placed when you were supposed to be open (about 2-3 pm on a Saturday), also by the way it wasn’t placed on DoorDash and was cancelled by an employee not any app, but the business is always right I guess ??. It honestly makes me mad how you can act like you are in the right after wasting hours of my day just to cancel my order after I come to pick it up. Last thing, if no one was there to answer the phone how was my phone number blocked and the order cancelled ?? Or at least don’t allow online orders or cancel it before I ARRIVE TO PICK UP MY FOOD. Ik you wont reply to this edit bc you love thinking you are right, but that is unacceptable
