I ate here last week, for the umpteenth time in my 25+ years in Pullman. Always great food, and they have the BEST pot stickers in the Quad Cities (they make them by hand, while all the others seem to come from frozen food service deliveries).
Pullman's restaurant scene is bad. I have visited often enough times over the years to have tried all of the recommended restaurants multiple times at this point. New Garden is my current favorite; I believe it would have a chance to stand out in even the crowded Seattle Chinese food scene. The food is decent, the service is good, the menu is large, the prices are fair, and I like the ambiance a lot. Specific to the ambiance, I find the wallpaper and waterfall neat. I attached photos. There really isn't a downside to the restaurant except perhaps the parking.
Their black pepper beef is SO GOOD 🤤
Tastes little like bulgogi to me!
We ordered over the phone and had it delivered but it was SO FAST and SO MUCH FOOD for not too steep of a price considering the amount. Everything was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS and delivered HOT. I especially loved their potstickers and their potsticker sauce, the potstickers tasted homemade. I also loved their pork fried rice. Absolutely AMAZING. I can’t wait to get food from them again, and I’m particularly interested in their soups. Because if what I got was that good, the rest of their food must be amazing as well. I 10000% recommend.
Had delivery, some of the ABSOLUTE BEST Chinese food I've had in a while, frickin will eat here again
Always fantastic!
Always friendly service and generous portions. A family favorite!
My family went there on February 7 Saturday night. It was snowing. We just toured Washington State University and was really hungry for Chinese. That is I would kill for a good Chinese meal Fortunately, no one was killed. That’s because the food was terrible. The service was good just not the food.
We’ve been enjoying this restaurant for many years. A few years ago, the chef bought the restaurant and has added many yummy Korean dishes to the Chinese menu. Our family favorites are special chow mein, mushu chicken, Mongolian, beef and Jjampong (Spicy Korean soup). They are often very busy, but still are always very cheerful and kind. The portions are generous with lots of very fresh vegetables, which are important to me. Always recommended. Order early or make reservations on WSU event days!
Debatably the worst food I’ve had in years. Flavorless. Bland. Not cooked all the way. Not what I ordered. The attached picture is what I received after ordering fried rice… it’s just white rice, boiled chicken, and no seasonings or anything else. I tried to call the restaurant after to see what happened and the owner wouldn’t even get on the phone, instead he was talking in the background saying it was my fault to the hostess. Overall: inedible food and absurdly rude ownership.

I've been coming to this place many years now. Every time they treat you like family and today was no different. Food was great fast and friendly service.
Dinner was delicious
They have some Korean dishes which were good. Owner seems nice and the worker was really nice as well. Would come back often if I lived around here.

Delicious food, quick and helpful service & lit ambience. Liked their wall paper. Food can be slightly spicier, I chose spice level #4 yet it was sweet for me ?
We had the Hunan chicken + sweet + sour prawns + pork rice combination meal (from the special combo menu section) and schezuan fish (comes with a portion of steamed rice). Super yummy! Fish and the chicken was cooked really well.
"Mal Guel Soo Rok" charcoal drink went really well with the food.
The sweet and sour prawns weren't that great.
