Lovely service and great espresso. Definitely smelled like a puppy house, but not pups to be seen during my visit.

Came to buy a hazy IPA and chat with friends. Such a cool store. I like very much the “pay forward” and “pupcake donation”. Very kind community. Come by, folks, to support.

I love it here. I was on the hunt for a local morning spot where I could plug in and write, and I was not disappointed with this shoppe. Quin and his staff have treated me like family, not a customer since day one and it’s now become my morning stating point. There’s a little library with some leather chairs, plenty of indoor seating, outdoor seating, and an off leash area in the back for the well behaved pups. Staff offer every dog a pup cup (with mum or dad’s permission of course). I’ve recently discovered their adult drink menu, so we will be coming back one of these nights to try out something a little more adventurous than coffee. Because I do enjoy a nice glass of wine while writing every so often.

Title: Quinn at Pups & Cups Coffee – Fake ROAR, Fake Ally, Full of Hot Air
I usually don’t write reviews this long, but this experience was such a ridiculous display of fake “allyship” and wannabe toughness that it deserves the full story.
Quinn, the owner of Pups & Cups Coffee, claims he supports WSU ROAR and people with autism. That’s a bold and noble claim… if you actually live it. But what I experienced was the exact opposite. I came in calm, respectful, and ready to have an actual adult conversation. I wasn’t loud, I wasn’t causing trouble — I was simply trying to talk to the man face-to-face.
Instead of showing even a shred of the understanding or compassion he claims to represent, Quinn instantly switched into faux-tough-guy mode. No listening, no dialogue, no empathy — just attitude and posturing like he’s some sort of campus enforcer. He immediately went to “trespass” threats, as if running a small coffee shop gives you the moral high ground to shut down conversations you don’t want to have.
Here’s the thing: true support for autism and programs like WSU ROAR isn’t about wearing the merch or posting feel-good photos on social media. It’s about how you treat people in real life when the cameras aren’t rolling. And in real life, Quinn failed that test hard.
He tried to play both victim and tough guy at the same time — which is not only hypocritical but also incredibly unprofessional. Throwing people out instead of talking to them isn’t “leadership” or “boundaries.” It’s avoidance. It’s weakness. And when you slap a cause like autism support on your brand, it becomes exploitation when you don’t live up to it.
I’ve been around real Cougs, real WSU ROAR supporters, and real allies to the autistic community. They don’t act like this. They don’t hide behind trespass threats. They don’t pretend to be your friend in public then treat you like an inconvenience in private.
The coffee? Average at best. Nothing you can’t get at ten other shops nearby. The atmosphere? Fake smiles for some, cold shoulder for others. The leadership? Let’s just say I’ve seen tighter operations run out of high school concession stands.
Bottom line: If you value genuine community, actual compassion, and integrity, you won’t find it here. And if you’re thinking of supporting this business because of its supposed ties to WSU ROAR and autism, just know that what’s advertised and what’s delivered are two very different things.
Quinn — if you’re reading this — here’s some real talk: Respect isn’t given because of a title, a shirt, or a cause you claim to represent. It’s earned through how you treat people when no one else is watching. And on that front, you’ve got a lot of work to do.

Went into this store to pick up an order from my customer and the staff refused to give the people who were ordering food straws. I know it's petty, but most people who are working with, like a straw with their orders and being refused of something as simple as a straw just makes me believe that. If you go here for anything else you're probably not going to like the service or the staff

Stopped in today while waiting to pick up my daughter from WSU. Very nice quiet setting. The gal at the counter was very polite and welcoming. I ordered the GF biscuits and gravy, it was absolutely delicious. I will be definitely stopping in here on my visits to see my daughter.

We went here due to the great ratings, but the iced Americano was undrinkable (threw it out and bought a much better one down the street). The wait was also long at 19 minutes for one drink. The wait wasn’t really a big deal, but you can get a much better coffee the next block over for a shorter time wait (which we did).

Had so much fun with my pup and friends. I didn't have any food but the butterbeer drink was good.

My wife and I already love Pups & Cups, but we for the first time just bought their dog birthday cake! Our dog and her friends thought it was the best thing they have ever had!
I can’t believe I’ve only had coffee here twice and never inside until now. Yesterday was the first time I came in and really sat down. I love the atmosphere that this place has. There’s something for every one, and there’s an indoor dog park in the back. This is my new pre-DoorDash caffeine stop! 100%!
Signature drinks with cute names or they’ll make anything you want, any way you want. Always a decent selection of pastries and the food is hot and fresh. I don’t have a dog, but it’s nice to see well behaved dogs with caring owners while I enjoy my morning or afternoon treat. Thank you Pullman!
Love the idea, love the space, but sadly the coffee is very subpar. I’ve had probably 8-9 different coffee drinks from them and every time I am convinced they forgot to put the coffee in. Always tastes like chocolate milk rather than coffee and I don’t notice the “energizing” effect of the caffeine. I want to support these guys more, but I can’t bring myself to do it when I’m 99.9% certain they don’t put coffee in their drinks :/
