This review is just for the yoga: It's a fine studio, but I'm not in love. I moved to Pullman from Louisville and can't help but miss and compare Sanctuary with the donation-based studio in Lou that I fell in absolute love with. Granted, my old studio was not "hot "yoga, but I didn't mind. I wish there was regular-temperature yoga in the area (hot yoga is just expensive) but there's not a ton of options for yoga in the area as far as I've found. I also went to a "hot" yoga in Lou at a different studio sometimes though, and I still liked it better than Sanctuary. I know I shouldn't compare maybe, but it's hard not to.
Things that my old yoga studio and/or old hot yoga place had that this one does not (aka - recommendations for Sanctuary):
- Old place was very ethically consciousness which I appreciated. It was a boutique that only sold ethical yoga clothing brands (not the biggest fan of the brands that Sanctuary sells because of their low ethical grade).
- More plants and greenery. String lights too. Sanctuary has decorated the room somewhat, but it still feels pretty bare to me.
- More laughter and silliness from instructors (less serious vibes) in classes.
- More spiritual practices (my old studio regularly has sessions with beautiful mediations, chants, sound baths, and/or even some prayers that could be be appreciated by those in any faith background or even those without a faith tradition).
- One thing that the old hot yoga studio that I went to in Lou had was small and subtle, but so wonderful! They simply passed out these super cold lavender scented cloths to put on your forehead during shavasana and this silly little thing was my favorite part.
- Less expensive so it's more accessible to everyone. Like I said my other place was donation based. And even for hot yoga, Sanctuary seems to be more expensive than other ones I've looked at in Spokane and surrounding areas.
Like I said, Sanctuary is a fine studio (just not the best I've been to).

We waited about 40 minutes for our waffle and smoothie. Definitely call in advance if you want to get your food in a reasonable time.
Great smoothies but was $10 for 16Oz which is expensive. Have never seen this place and it’s hidden behind other building downtown. Would come back again.

The people were okay, typical studio smoothie bar but the smoothie was awful. Its called a mermaid and it tasted like a perfectly good smoothie someone else drank then regurgitated for you. Probably largely due to the blue slime being both present and overabundant.

A great place to grab a fresh smoothie after a wonderful Hot Yoga Class!! It is a well taken care of facility!!
Kid-friendliness: There is a preschool!
Parking: I parked in one of the many different spots at the studio. There is also free 2 hour public parking and the old oasis parking lot next to it. The way you access the studio is by going behind the armory building. You’ll find a front desk person there to help you out!

Loved the smoothie. The atmosphere is nice. I was super impressed with their ability to tell me more about their yoga classes but I could have needed better questions also. Overall, I would dedicate recommend Sanctuary if you're looking for a smoothie in Pullman, WA.

Do be aware of honey! The smoothies are great, but can be expensive. It's a nice little treat while on a walk in the summer. There's a path from the walking trail. Updated from previous review on 2023-01-21

We order 4 different bowls and everyone loved them
Great smoothie bowls, they also have waffles that look really good.
Very tasty smoothies, fresh ingredients and super friendly service. My girls ordered with his help and they loved theirs too.
Amateur hour. We went in and waited for 15 minutes but there’s no evidence that anytime noticed or cared. Is this a real business or a money-laundering operation?
The smoothies are the best I have ever had! Creative recipes, something for everyone.
