I love this place by far the best Chinese food between lewiston and pullman area. The wait time can be longer but it's always been worth it.

Food was solid but the wait was just super long, people who had ordered mere minutes before us got their food, finished and left before we even got our waters refilled. Come here for solid food and with time to kill. Portion sizes are good though.

So yesterday I made the mistake of ordering food from this joke of a restaurant... I'm sure I sound angry and it's probably because I am. I don't like wasting my money and the money I spent at this crappy place, I may as well have just set $30 on fire.. actually $37 after making the mistake of tipping on a take out order (this is the perfect example of why people don't like to tip on to go orders). I'm not sure if someone was having a bad day or the reviews on this place are bs but I can honestly say that this was the very very worst Chinese food I've ever had. In fact it was so bad that after taking one bite I threw the rest of it away immediately... And had it not been that I was on the road and already out of town when I took that bite I would have taken that food back in there and demanded my money back. This place needs to go out of business. It is a really messed up feeling when you put a piece of meat in your mouth thinking it's one thing but it's not. I ordered sweet and sour chicken... It looked like they attempted to make it look like sweet and sour chicken...heavily battered... But it just couldn't have been....there's no way... If you would like good Chinese food I suggest Mini Hot pot by Mandarin House downtown. They have really good food. I hate wasting my money or feeling like I've been ripped off in some way...and that's what this place feels like... It's absolute junk.

This place is fine. I understand the desperation to find good asian food in Pullman. The food isn't that good. People tend to really overhype this place but it's just plain Chinese food (likely not freshly made). I got the honey walnut shrimp and it was honestly horrible. The sauce was so sweet and cream-based, it didn't feel like a good match for seafood. I probable won't go again but there's really no other choice in Pullman.

I came here when it was my first year in pullman out in a whim cause my parents and sister wanted food and we were staying in the Hampton Inn right across the street. We loved the food that we ordered

The food, service, prices and portion sizes were all excellent. Tan's is worth checking out if you're in Pullman.
We were in Pullman from out of town and this restaurant was recommended from multiple different people. The food was delicious. We will definitely eat here again!

Seriously bes Chinese food in town! Everything is so quality, the portion is crazy big. We ordered 4 dishes for 3 people but I’m pretty sure we could have fed 5-6 people! Service is incredible. I would come back.
We ordered roasted duck, spicy, sour potatoes, crispy beef and house special tofu

Portions were incredibly small for the money. The sweet and sour chicken was over $20 and we received 16 pieces. Very disappointed and will not return.

A friend recommended Tan's Chinese to us because the food was authentic. We tried the Spicey Pork Intestine, Hong Kong Roasted Duck, Garlic Chicken and Beef and Broccoli. The food was very good. In China, it is customary to eat the food family style. This was a new experience for us. We would recommend having dinner here.

Whoever was cooking Friday 18th of April doesn’t know how to cook chicken. Everything we ordered that had chicken in it was nasty and was so disappointed to the point I feel we won’t be back
Lovely restaurant with great food!
