Considering Pullman is a small college town with limited food options, Tan’s is arguably the best Chinese spot in Pullman. I am from Los Angeles and Tan’s is obviously different, but this is the best in Pullman hands down!

Delicious, authentic tasting food that keeps you full for hours and the portion size feeds you for more than one meal! The hostess is kind and friendly and also speaks fairly good English as she was able to identify which food items contained allergens I should be aware of.I couldn't possibly pick just one favorite food item but I absolutely love the steamed Pork Baos as I was unable to find many places in the area that serves them.Definitely taking my out-of-town family members here when they visit!

I really do like the food here, as it hits the spot for Asian food. I got the crispy general tso chicken and it was very good, I liked how crispy it was. We also got steak fried rice. The steak was great but kind of wished it was mixed into the fried rice better rather than chopping up pieces for the side. I will say the inside is fine but it's not my favorite place to dine into. It also takes a bit for the food to come out, I think due to low staff. I also know that if you order online for takeout, it will probably take about 15 mins extra at least for it to come out in time. So id keep that in mind for takeout. Overall it's a good place if you don't mind waiting for the food, take out as well as dine in.

Best authentic Chinese food restaurant in Pullman. They have a large menu with lots of options. You can get takeout or delivery. The restaurant is self has a small sitting room that is very cozy and enjoyable. And the service is fairly good, though sometimes they can be really busy and it'll take a little longer for you to get waited on.
I love their food. The wait can be longer especially on weekends or fridays. I would recommend calling in to go if you're not a patient person. There seems to be just two people working most the time and I believe they are the owners. Everyone I've taken here has loved their food and I keep going back even with long wait times.If you want a less intense dessert you should definitely try their sesame balls, lotus seed buns, or red bean buns.
