The carbonara is delightful, but best of all, they gave me a welcoming and friendly solo dining experience. Thank you! ??‍♀️

I took my daughter here for her birthday and it was perfect! We shared the clams & chicken. The food was exceptionally delicious and our server (Wiley) was fantastic. He brought her a special dessert with a candle & made her feel extra special. This is our number one pick in all of Eastern WA.Dietary restrictions: My daughter is gluten free & they took good care to make sure no GF issues.

Excellent food. The entire experience was very nice. Our waiter was a bit nervous, but he did a good job. We wood definitely eat here again.

Great ambience, food, and people. Met some friends here who hadn't been back to Pullman since graduating 20 years ago. As she mentioned, "It would have been nice to have something like this when we were here. All we had was Pete's Bar and Grill."

Always have the best service here, as exemplified by their James Beard award in Hospitality. Seriously, the servers really take the best care of their guests that they can.The food is honestly hit and miss. The cooking crew/chefs have pretty good ideas for higher-end platings and techniques, but the ultimate execution leaves something to be desired. It's like a movie that has a great start but a lackluster end. The dishes sound great on paper but when they arrive they just don't match their price point and/or expectation (roasted veggie side was served cold, etc.).I would recommend this place as the best in Pullman so far, and the highest-end option in town for now. But do not expect the best food, it is difficult to get nicer ingredients out here, and even the fresher meat that they get doesn't always live up to its sale price here. Great cocktails and service though. Their club above the restaurant is nice for a night out for dancing and music.

Came in to town on a work trip and saw this place from the reviews and pictures looked like the place to go. Let me tell you it is true. The staff are very kind and also very knowledgeable about the food they serve. The wonderful server Sydney helped me figure out what to order and I got the Pomodoro with meatballs, it was so good I no joke cried a little! Literally everything I consumed tasted of high quality even the water!! If you are thinking of a place to go please do yourself a favor and just go here! And if you see Sydney and you are lucky to have her be the one who serves you make sure to tip extra! I’d give it 10 stars if I could!

When we are in town, we always treat ourselves to a nice dinner at The Black Cypress. We split the rib eye steak and salad this time. Meatballs and spaghetti went to the kids. Everything was excellent.

Black Cypress is my go to restaurant for an upscale dinner in the Pullman/Moscow area. It is a good place for a romantic dinner- the last time I was there I saw someone propose, which was very special. It is also perfect for a celebration - I just hosted my son's graduation party there. The food is consistently good. The standouts on the menu for me are the lamb chops, the roasted chicken, the pasta carbonara, the Caesar salad, and the panna cotta. For vegetarian, the portabello mushroom entree is delicious. The service is always friendly and polite. I will say that if it is really busy the food service can occasionally be a bit slow. I recommend you order cocktails and appetizers and enjoy lingering over drinks and conversation. It can be noisy, especially on the bar side, so if you need a quieter atmosphere ask to sit on the non-bar side. I always know it will be a special evening when I go here for dinner. I also love to just sit at the bar and enjoy the delicious drinks made by their expert bartenders. Pullman is fortunate to have this place.

I went in for a gift certificate. I was pretty impressed with the inside and the girl that helped me was very nice.

Lively atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food, and that bacon! Just look at that bacon and go get yourself some.Dietary restrictions: The staff is knowledgeable and will verify what is safe for you. My wife cannot have gluten and I am lactose intolerant. Both of us were easily accommodated.Wheelchair accessibility: The entryway has a minor bump for closing the gap at the bottom of the door and is at the top of a minor incline. It will be easy for you to wheel right on in to enjoy some fantastic food.
