The owner is honestly really oriented towards the individuals lacking color. And he kicked me (Latina) and my (Latina) friend out while we were in line for the bathroom. He started accusing us saying we were too drunk, even though we only had one or two drinks. And he kicked us out of the bar. Do not recommend this place if you’re a person of color. I don’t know what the owner was on, but it was definitely messed up.

I can’t thank The Emporium enough! I lost my diamond bracelet here and it was safely turned in. Cory went out of his way to make sure it was returned to me, which honestly speaks volumes about their integrity and the kind of people who run this place. In a world where things could have gone differently, I’m beyond grateful for the honesty and kindness shown. Great atmosphere, amazing staff, and truly trustworthy people. Highly recommend!

My Muslim friend from Pakistan got cut off from this bar. The funny thing is, he was our DD. It is against his religion to drink liquor and he was completely sober when he was escorted out from the dance floor. This is the second time a "feminine" acting man has been cut off from this bar. Starting to see a trend. It starting to feel targeted.Edit- I did enjoy the drinks that I got, thanks! I got a vodka cran not whatever it was that you said tho. I did not once order a drink with my Muslim friend, nor did he drink from my glass. To respond to this just to accuse him of breaking Halal is disgusting. I hope this review is taken seriously. I do not mean to subtly imply you are homophobic or xenophobic. I meant to outwardly accuse you of such. To cite safety as a reason for kicking a person of color out does not look good, especially since you couldn't give him a reason. What? Was he gonna bring in a bomb? Ridiculous
