I cannot comprehend how this place has 4 stars on reviews. For the first time in my life, I witnessed an actual moment of racial discrimination. Multiple people at the entrance of the venue were behaving in a rowdy manner, and only one person was asked to leave! That person happened to be black. “You are swaying and cannot stand still” was their reasoning. It happened to be the only african american in proximity. And he was the only one asked to leave despite being the calmest and most polite near the entrance. I confronted the bouncers, who mind you, did NOT ask me to leave. The laughed it off, still having no rationale that had any logic or evidence. This establishment is complacent, has awful service, and lacks respect and integrity towards its constituents.

We were ALREADY walking out and a Hispanic male that worked there, kicked us out very unprofessionally got in our face too. Didnt declare the situation at all what’s so ever. the moment we were already leaving he stated “your cut off” keep in mind I’ve had one drink and I’m Hispanic. We asked for the manager which “Nick” the general manager came out. Said they have protocols, so if one of their “employers” believes were impaired they can kick us out, I asked him to give us a Reason and they never did, we asked the GM for the employers name and he stated he couldn’t give that information out, they can pull out the cameras and see me and my man and my friends were vibing within ourselves, very disappointed and sad. Definitely reporting it above. Or bringing it further. I’ve had enough.

The owner is honestly really oriented towards the individuals lacking color. And he kicked me (Latina) and my (Latina) friend out while we were in line for the bathroom. He started accusing us saying we were too drunk, even though we only had one or two drinks. And he kicked us out of the bar. Do not recommend this place if you’re a person of color. I don’t know what the owner was on, but it was definitely messed up.

I can’t thank The Emporium enough! I lost my diamond bracelet here and it was safely turned in. Cory went out of his way to make sure it was returned to me, which honestly speaks volumes about their integrity and the kind of people who run this place. In a world where things could have gone differently, I’m beyond grateful for the honesty and kindness shown. Great atmosphere, amazing staff, and truly trustworthy people. Highly recommend!

Pretty damn hard to find them open on weekends and Friday night. Always something going on, but it's never for the Average Joe just looking for a drink. I guess it's for high rollers. Sure was nice when it was Stubblefields.
