Good place to go if you are craving better rice, than what the dining halls at WSU serve. They offer Japanese and Korean dishes, as my family is from Japan, we had the Japanese dishes. It would be best to say they offer Japanese inspired dishes, however not quite authentic. The Donburi seems to have been made using Chinese 5 Spice blend as we could taste cinnamon, we were thinking if may have been a use what you got situation, but definitely caught us off guard when we were expecting a different flavor. The yakisoba was ok, would do well in a pinch, however the Costco Yakisoba kit, is better, if you have time to hit up Costco. I imagine the Teriyaki would be good, if you are used to the Americanized version of Teriyaki. The staff were nice, seems as though they may be understaffed when it gets busy. The staff were pleasant. We didn't get any rolls or sushi, did get some Kimchi, that wasn't too spicy. Overall, my rating would be closer to 2.5 stars.

Me and my husband came here Wednesday on July 30/2025. The food was great. The waiter was a little bit handy’s for my comfort. When it came to pay, the total came out to $95 I didn’t have a problem paying $95 if that was my cost. She didn’t give me a receipt either till I ask for one that’s when she tried to act dumb and say I paid for the person‘s meal in front of us which she claimed was her sister. Then she started saying the system sometimes adds the tip by itself, I have worked with so many register systems That do not do that unless you click it. To me that is considered stealing. Please always ask for a receipt at this place they cannot be trusted.!!!!!!!!!!
The hostess/waitress was very gregarious and affable. Doesn't matter that it was my second or third time coming in, she treated me like an old friend who has been coming in for years. There are lots of options on the menu and I haven't had anything I was disappointed with yet. Great place to come for lunch or dinner!

We stopped in for lunch and the food was great. The waitress was very friendly and stopped by to check on us the perfect amount. Enough to make sure we never needed anything for to long, but not to often to be a problem. She was very good with our kids and we highly recommend it. We had sushi, pho, and teriyaki bento.
