I have never left a bad review. Unfortunately I am writing this review and I have not even been a patron of this establishment. I am writing this review due to what I see as dangerous community relations stemming from an Employee of Valhalla. I am a delivery driver and was delivering to a neighbor of Valhalla on a Friday morning at about 10. I parked on the side street and was blocking several parking spots that are on the side of Valhalla, but not all of the spaces. I parked there because Valhalla was closed so it didn't seem that I would interrupt business or block any patrons for the few minutes I would be there, and it was the safest spot to park. I came back to my truck after taking some of the order I was delivering to the neighbor, when a short chubby tattooed bald guy came up to me and immediately started yelling and cussing about how I'm blocking his parking spots. Apparently he had arrived while I was inside of the neighbors. I tried to get in some reasoning as I was caught off guard and shocked this weird fella was standing here yelling and cussing at me, but he just continued yelling, cussing, and telling me it's illegal to park there and yelling something about what the police would say. He seemed intent on confrontation. There was no reasoning with him. There were alot of people walking around too. It seemed best to disengage so i just told him I got it and went back to delivering the rest of the neighbors order. Luckily the weird guy went inside of Valhalla. He used a key to unlock the door, so he must work there or own it.
This was just a very dangerous and unnecessary situation that this guy created. I was just doing my job and being as safe as I could with where I parked.
I know sometimes it can probably be pretty annoying when delivery vehicles get in the way. I personally do my best to stay as safe and out of the way as possible, but sometimes there's no way around being an inconvenience. We have to get the goods where they are needed. Most people are pretty gracious and patient and I sure appreciate it. Then there's people like this. Im not even sure I was ever actually in this guys way, but even if I was, this guy dealt with it in the wrong way. I can say that just based on this interaction I will never go to Valhalla or spend money there. I will always recommend against my friends or family going there too. Maybe this guy thought I was just some out of town delivery guy that he could be irate and disrespectful to with no consequence. I'm actually local and own land in Whitman County. It's appalling to witness a Representative of one of our local businesses behave towards ANY person this way. Especially when this establishment is right in the Campus and student housing area. Hopefully he doesn't behave this way with the young students. The reviews sure are not looking good though.

Great college/sports bar atmosphere upstairs with a bit of a club atmosphere downstairs. Check out Wing Wednesday!

Public Statement / Review:

Valhalla presents itself as a community hub, but my experience has been the opposite. Instead of creating belonging, the leadership has fostered exclusion, intimidation, and an environment that pushes out those who don’t conform to their narrow standards.

I was trespassed without just cause — not for violence, not for threats, not for endangering anyone — but for being different. That decision was not about safety; it was about control, discrimination, and avoiding accountability. If I had been punching people, maybe it would make sense. But in reality, this came down to bias, gaslighting, and an effort to isolate me instead of addressing concerns honestly.

This matters. When a business takes it upon itself to trespass and silence people unfairly, it’s not just a personal issue — it becomes a community issue. It violates the basic principles of fairness, due process, and human dignity. Everyone deserves to feel safe in public spaces without fear of being targeted or humiliated.

That is why I am directly calling on Valhalla’s ownership — especially Pauly — to take accountability and undo this trespass. The right thing to do now is clear: reverse the decision, acknowledge the harm it caused, and rebuild trust by demonstrating that leadership is capable of acting with integrity, not intimidation.

Valhalla could still be a place that represents the values of community, equality, and fairness. But that can only happen if its leaders are willing to act like adults, face the truth, and make this right. Undo the trespass. Do better. Show the community that accountability still means something

Some of the worst treatment I’ve ever received. This place doesn’t even deserve the 3 star rating it has right now. Do not eat here. The staff is reason enough

Good food, cool people. I was just in town on work. Needed a beer and food.

I was scared for my safety at this place. I was taking a leak and there was some weird worker staring at me while I used the bathroom. I’m not sure why they hire someone to stand next to the bathroom and stare people down but its a pretty creepy business practice. The guy was also being weird and making strange comments. I would never spend my money here again and I hope that nobody else does.

Was in town visiting my daughter when we saw a pop up vintage WSU sale happening across the street from this place. We found a parking spot near this building. The ONLY visible signs state No Overnight Parking. So we parked to check out the sale. We also took 5 more mins to walk around the corner for cookies. We came back, got in the car and we're looking on our phones for directions to our next stop when we notice a short dark haired girl wearing a shirt for this business standing outside my passenger door staring in at us. I rolled down the window and she stated "just so you know you guys can't park here". Mind you there are no signs saying the parking is for any certain business only. I said oh ok we were just leaving anyways. We were still trying to get directions to our next stop while this parking nazi stood and stared at us the whole time. Not sure who she was trying to get on the phone until I started to back out of the spot, but she stomped off after I backed into the street. Either mark your spots a little clearer if that is what she was trying to enforce or tell your pitbull to chill out. Because of her I will never step foot in your business.

I like Valhalla alright. I used to like it even more, and go even more often, when Wing Wednesday actually used to be a deal. Wing Wednesday now makes it so it's $1.50 per wing. 12 Wings is $19.50, and on Wing Wednesday that comes out to be $18, a total savings of $1.50. You could pay full price and get one extra wing! It's disappointing because I used to meet up with friends and coworkers here to enjoy the wings, but it hurts too much to pay so much to get a few small wings, not counting drinks or anything else.
