ANTHEM Coffee & Tea | Puyallup

First time walking into this particular Anthem location, next to the library & Activity Center.

Google says they close at 6pm, however, upon arriving, was told that they are going to start closing in 5 mins (before 5pm). Ordered drinks and baked goods with a lady that was obviously annoyed and let it be known in her mannerisms, hurried toned, and hasty sigh. She did not repeat the order, just rung it and walked off before I finished the transaction. I did tip, for ordering before closing.
She Missed one of our drinks. I asked about it after all the drinks were given, and was asked if I still wanted it. I could tell this would be an inconvenience, so I politely declined and hurriedly left.

Won't be coming back to this one.

All the Anthems are good, but this one was a step above in terms of friendliness, attention to detail with the order, promptness, etc. Don't need to be in this area in the morning much but this location would easily be my go to for coffee. Gets a bit busy in afternoon.

I love this place and location. The girls that helped me were wonderful and quick!

Really good drinks! They do not skimp on the flavors like other places. I've ordered three of their monthly specials, and they've each been unique and good in their own ways. Staff are friendly and service is fast.

Best coffee ever!!! I ordered a peaches and cream latte featuring white coffee. It was so amazing. Both cold and hot drinks are great. Staff is always kind and have smiles. First time I went there I was not sure what to order. The gentleman was so patient and he gave me a recommendation. I truly appreciated it and the time they gave me. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Highly recommended. Grab coffee here often and meet others for business. They have lots of coffee options and a selection of food items that look good (haven't tried them yet)

Although I was disappointed, that cake & crumble is no longer available here ... I was pleased that they had gluten free avocado toast and is awesome.

We are visiting puyallup from Iowa. Slowest coffee shop I’ve ever been to. I ordered. Hot Chocolate and they put half of the normal syrup most shops do very disappointing experience won’t happen twice

This place is a WA Top 5 Cafe contender.

Coffee: I judge places on their Mocha and in-house roast, I only got to touch Mocha today, and it tasted like a Mocha should, chocolate with a slight bitter.

Food: Oh my god, get the pistachio pizza. It is the most out of nowhere, tasty, creative cafe menu that I have eaten, and I go to Cafes daily.

Vibe: open, smoked-wood library aesthetic filled with merch for any out of town/state visitors. Consistently busy, you'll hear glasses, conversations, and laughs - lively, to say the least. GREAT for hangouts and dates.

Overall, I feel Anthem knocks it out of the park in every department and captures what a lively cafe should be. With its smokey-fire place, energy, laxed community, and a delicious variety of both food and drinks. This is a TOP 5 WA contender.

stopped for lunch, I bought $10 Avocado toast and had a ice water, unfortunately I sat for maybe 20 minutes waiting to be served my order. I then asked if they can refund, they checked in the back came to me told me it’s on the to go table, in a box. I told them I said “for here”. I get that she might of mistaken me, but all she said when I told her I ordered for here, she said “oh gotcha”. Didn’t offer to remake or reheat it. Kinda bumped because this is a frequent stop I make…
