We went out for dinner and sat at a cozy round table. The server was really nice and patient. The place was busy and our food arrived pretty quickly. Everything was wonderful! We had a terrific evening.
I was highly disappointed due to the fact that I talked Black Angus up to my wife. From my experience with Stuart Anderson Black Angus restaurants I had previously dined at. The food was not that great but not bad. Kind of middle of the road. I truly expected more to be honest. The waitress was the highlight ! She was attentive and well spoken. My wife did not eat the au gratin potatoes or the Mac and cheese she said tasted old as if was leftover from the previous night. Also the cheese bread had the taste of curdling to it. My salad my again middle of the road. I am a retired dietitian and a retired chef. I really did expect more. My experience as a chef would not have been met with the dishes we were served. The steaks we ordered were also bland with no seasoning !
We have been going to the Black Angus in Vancouver and Puyallup for over 10 years. Most recently the Puyallup property due to our relocation to Olympia. Saturday the 16th was time to test the Brunch menu. We had great service from Holley and she aswered a number of menu questions. The Bloody Mary special was the perfect way to start the meal and the scramble options made for a very enjoyable brunch. A return visit is required.
Food was delicious. Pacing of the meal was kind of slow but us but most people probably eat slower than we do.
We attended one of their ‘Experiences' which is a special 3-course meal accompanied by a drink for each course. We've been to their Bourbon, Martini, Tequila, and Rum experiences and they've all been amazing!
Once again another excellent 3 course experience. Food was amazing. Service wonderful. We always attend their 3 course whiskey/rum/tequila experience. The only complaint I have is our food is always cold but maybe it's because there are a lot of dinners going out at the same time
It's nice to see that you can go out and have a decent meal at a reasonable price with no forced added gratuities or service fees, lately places have been finding more and more ways to nickel and dime you, but black angus has started true to real customer service.

So we decided to give Black Angus another try since we got an email offering two Campfire feasts for $60. The waitress wasn't aware of the email so my wife showed it to her and she told us that we could order any cut of meat with that offer. We ordered one starter, two 6oz filets (both medium), two sides and a dessert. When we got the filets they were medium-rare so the guy who brought them offered to take them back and we agreed. He was very nice and apologetic. He brought the steaks back and they were cooked the way we ordered them. Both filets didn't haven't a lot flavor though and my filet had fat in it which surprised me because we've had 6oz filets in the past and they didn't have fat. We also ordered grilled asparagus and it was very woody. Kind of like eating sticks. Very disappointing! The grilled zuccini was decent and the slice of fudge cake was cold but not bad. We got the bill and they charged us $69 for the two feasts plus and additional $12 for the filets. We asked the waitress why we didn't get the two feasts for $60 like the email stated and she said because the system didn't apply the discount. I ask her about the additional $12 and she said the filets are premium so thats why the system charged extra. We brought up that she told us we could order any cut of meat and she agreed and said she needed to talk with the manager. The manager came over with the waitress and he looked at the email and said he wasn't aware of it because a lot time managers don't get informed about these deals. He said we will honor it and remove the $12 charge and they did. Both the waitress and manager were very nice! Its puzzling to me why managers wouldn't be informed about Black Angus discount offers. As a manager you should know what offers are out there to alleviate you're customers having to show you. Keeping your manager's and waitresses in the dark about offers is not a good business model. We were displeased with the quality of the food and confusion around the offer. We've ate there in the past and were disappointed with the quality of the steak and we feel they are over priced for what you get so we will not be going back to Black Angus anytime soon.

We sat at a 6-top in the bar area, as we were 6 adults. Seated immediately as we arrived with a reservation. Joe was our server and was super good! Beverages were good and food excellent.

I have never had a bad experience at Black Angus. Food is always delicious but the atmosphere could use a little updating.  The ceiling should be reupholstered, new carpet, and the lighting fixtures should be Replaced
We really usually enjoy this BA but this time the food was a little off which is definitely not the normal for this BA. The Bleu cheese and bacon baked potato was definitely not something I'll ever try again. It was way too bluey and I am a true bleu cheese lover. My filet mignon tasted off. Cooked as order but something was off taste wise . ( sorry but best way to describe) Servuce was great. We probably won't be back for awhile and let them reset.
We had kids and the service was super slow. we waiting 20 minutes so we could leave. the entire service was slow and waitress never waited for us to finish talking. my kids food got cold waiting for our food too And ketchup for there burgers. talked to manager and he did nothing, just said so you want the bill? Manager didn't ask any other questions and didn't help at all! I wish I could have just left without paying. The hosts was super kind and said sorry about your service. I wouldn't recommend coming here. I wasted my groupon coming here.

Black Angus is the best and they love my dog Diggity! Everyone is awesome and makes sure we are taken care of. Shout out to Amber, James, Eva, Amara, managers Seacrest and Scott.
