Always seen this place and have always wanted to go. Go and ENJOY! Great atmosphere, the food is amazing and the service was awesome (thanks Andrew!). We have the crab with shrimp and crawfish with level one spice (original sauce) and that hit perfect. Enjoy a huge plate of seafood and enjoy.

I used to come here all the time with my husband before we moved over a year ago. Missed it so much I had to visit! However I feel like it’s just gotten worse, sadly my favorite waitress is no longer there, the Service I had now was not good and food was okay, my fried stuff was cold, The seat was sticky I had to wipe it down. The price has gone up alot as well. Me personally think there is better seafood boil places in wa.

My party had a reservation and was seated quickly. The restaurant was extremely cold given that it was in the mids 50s outside. Once we order the food came out rather quickly. The food overall was okay but the thai chilli chicken wings were delicious. I would definitely recommend. The rest of the food could have been seasoned better.Parking: Due to the other business around parking can be difficult to find.

Ask then how fresh it is before you try it. I'm a seafood inspector and personally this was recommended because I'm a fan but one thing I can tell it's the freshness. I broke out in hive the day after earing seafood and its always 2 reason, seafood was sitting out for too long or it's leftovers. My body can tell. Luckily I wasn't on official business but I just need to warn anyone who is easily sick with spoiled or leftover food. Please be careful. I'd advise against consuming anything from here if you've felt sick before.

I used to go to Crawfish House a lot but lately they've been going downhill and I haven't been back since I've been to Crawfish Chef! I love the consistency and quality each and every time, even when it's not in season.

"I was really disappointed with my experience at Crawfish Chef Puyallup. The food was incredibly salty, and when I called to complain, they asked me to bring it back for them to see the salt. Not the level of customer service I expected. They also charged for extra services which they explained for extra care services and my food came in a plastic bag. Won’t be returning, don’t want to get sick because of the amount of salt in the food. I’ll be fine with the Tacoma boiling seafood.

I have been wanting to try this place out for a while now and glad I finally did!Came in for a solo lunch and got seated right away, tucked into a somewhat poorly lit corner of the restaurant (which I didn’t mind being further away from the entrance).Ordered their Lychee Splash to start. It was good but wish it was more tart and less crushed ice. It reminded me of lot more of a slushy juice drink with hint of rum.Then came out the star of this entire experience. I had their combo #2 that came with plenty of plump juicy shrimp(head off), clean green lip mussels, corn and potatoes -tossed in their DELICIOUS house sauce with level 4 spicy. Easily one of the most flavorful and best seafood boils I’ve had. Also, asked them for a side of their Asian French bread and EXTRA lime which complimented the meal.Pricing was a bit up there, but I mean seafood is always going to be that way unless you want horrible quality seafood (this was not the case, everything was fresh to me).The only thing that would make this truly better is if they changed the lighting in the restaurant. It was pretty dimly lit in there and I had to give my eyes some time to adjust before I eventually was able to see the menu clearly. It just has a “dark or gloomy” ambience, which may be okay for some but it would have made such a huge difference if it was brighter in there.
Our first time here and the food was awesome! The restaurant isn't anything fancy but the food and service more than make up for it! So much to choose from it's hard to decide and the portions are large. Our service person was very helpful with our selections.
