The staff was all extremely friendly and helpful! We all loved our food! The atmosphere is adorable. There's representation of popular British fandoms (Dr. Who, Harry Potter). So much detail!

Sandwiches were decent and the deserts were pretty good. The scones and tea were the best items.

First time here! Such good food! Great service.. small staff but they were so pleasant...great atmosphere. Next time we'll book an afternoon tea.

Went for afternoon tea today. Had the "Champagne of Tea" and Fruity Tootie (sweet). both teas were great. Beware the scones we received had raisins in them, I was told the children's would be chocolate chip and I was under the impression the adults were plain but the children's had golden raisins and the adults had regular and golden raisins. FYI the english store is no longer there. Apparently it's been gone for a year but I didn't know. I specially went to this tea room for that as my mother is from England and I wanted to surprise her. So that kinda of sucked. The server stated they plan to hopefully bring it back by no eta. Service was decent and food was good. The room had some Harry Potter candles and decor but the setting is just black furniture with white table cloths and white dishes. If you're looking for more flowery or different vibe there are some other tea rooms in the area that will provide that.

Everything was dirty. The glasses, the silverware, the chairs...Stopped asking for replacement ware and just dealt with it. Was not greeted by anyone, they just walked past us and as a first time guest, had no idea the process here. It's mostly by reservation so we were set up in the lobby at a table. Food was sub par and less than homemade, lots of canned, premade stuff reheated. Disappointed.

The ham and cheese pie, the sausage roll, and the cucumber and cream cheese sandwich were what we ordered. The food was really tasty. It was great to have the Buckingham Palace tea. The whole thing cost $26. The customer service was great. There's a small store inside with British candy and chips. It's decorated with things from British pop culture, like Dr. Who and Harry Potter. In the end, I will definitely go back and tell everyone to do the same.

Delicious! I had the shepherds pie and it is wonderful! The desserts were great too. Kinda pricey but cheaper than going to England!

Had lunch there recently. Been going here for a few years and sadly the magic is gone. The scones have gotten smaller while the prices keep going up ($3.50 for a tiny scone and $2.50 for about a teaspoon of jam & clotted cream). For comparison, these scones are probably half the size of every scone I had in England. They used to serve delicious loose leaf tea and now just a regular tea bag ($5.50). Very disappointed because we used to love going there. Not really worth the trip from Tacoma now. Overall, for a very simple lunch I spent $28 - for one person! (including tip). I really wish they could do better, I am going to miss this place.

I was lucky to secure a reservation for the first afternoon tea at the new Centralia location. It was wonderful, from the staff, the food and the teas. I plan on being a regular! Thank you British Bites for opening this awesome place in Centralia!

I love their Afternoon Tea Sandwiches. It tasted very yummy and the service was good. The place is small, but not small in hospitality. I will definitely be back.

We found British Bites because my partner's grandparents were in town visiting. One is English, and confirmed that not only was everything authentic but the scones were the best he has had in America (his words not mine, I can't even make this up). He also reeeally loved the sausage rolls. For myself, the cucumber sandwiches, the Irish breakfast tea and the scones were all the highlight. The service was wonderful but Lori (apologies if this is misspelled) really made us feel welcomed and made the visit extra special. I know we'll be back, I'm interested in both the pastys and the treacle tarts next time (these were out by the time we arrived). Looking forward to the next visit!

I love this place, the food is fantastic! It was a little too warm when we came in, so dress in layers ?. We'll be back to have Afternoon Tea soon!
