They have a few foods that they get only occasionally, and it takes a bit of searching to find them. This is okay, since these items are very tasty for me. I especially like that I can depend on them for fresh, or fresh frozen dungeness crab. Yummmmy. I'm single, so the down side is the huge portions, like meat... And, the large packages of processed foods, like fish filets and even ice cream cones. However, that's part of what gets the price down, so it is well worth it. I really like that they have people passing out food samples. I often buy items that I sample, that otherwise I wouldn't give a second thought. I'm a senior senior, and the folks at the register will go way beyond in helping me get my food checked. Returns are easy, although I'm very careful to return items in undamaged packaging, with all tags still attached, and not worn. I suspect that some people abuse their leniency... I marked atmosphere at only 4 stars, since after all, it is a warehouse and not a fancy department store... The huge downside for me: There are huge crowds waiting for food, and while I really, really, really, want to get food there as I depart, I don't want to take the extra time, nor do I want my frozen items to thaw. (sad face here)

I want to leave a review for the Costco Puyallup location. I usually have very positive experiences at this Costco location but today I had a very rude and unprofessional interaction with Adam, the staff member checking receipts at the exit. It is my understanding that you do not have to show proof of membership to purchase food at the food court or to speak with member services. If I was entering the member services area today to purchase a membership and had this interaction, I would have promptly not purchased a membership and never come back. I always get a coffee or snack at the food court before I start my shopping trip. Today I entered the food court area like I have a hundred times before, and Adam came yelling after me, “Hey lady! Where are you going? What is your business here!” I was caught off guard at his hostility and told him I was purchasing a coffee before my shopping trip. He in a very rude and unprofessional manner stated, “show me your ID”. I showed him my Costco membership and he continued to berate me saying, “This is the exit, you can’t be here, what business do you have here, we need to know where you’re at at all times”. There was no reason for him to be rude and unprofessional, I have been a loyal Costco member for years and have never had a problem entering the member services area. This was a horrible Costco experience and I don’t feel comfortable returning to this location. Had I been entering the member services area to purchase a membership I would have decided not to based on this level of customer service. I have always complied with all Costco rules, I pay $120 per year for my membership, and I was simply trying to purchase a frozen coffee before continuing my shopping trip. I will not be returning to this Costco location.

The owner of Costco holds fund raisers for the far left. Costco is now putting less meat in their precooked meals. Don’t buy from Costco.

Consistently delicious. Their pizza is the best deal for the amount of food you get. Heck, all of their food items are a great buy and very affordable. Chicken bakes are so good and filling and are under $3, their churros are super yummy, and the berry smoothie is so refreshing and cheap!

I love Costco, but the guy who works at the food court has an attitude that makes me feel uncomfortable everytime I have to ask him for anything.. I literally dread asking him for a straw. I understand we’re trying to save plastic usage but my one year old loves the smoothies and does not know how to drink from the cup without a straw.. I kindly ask him for one each visit with a please and thank you and there is nothing but silence and an eye roll. EVERYTIME. It’s not necessary I don’t get it lol
