First time here and I now understand why this place was empty, I asked for 1/2 of brisket and they served exactly the 3 thinnest slices I have seen ever, definitely not a 1/2 half pound for 22 dollars of dry brisket, I'm never coming back, safe your money! Total disappointment!

We love the new owners! We used to come all the time, until the restaurant got so run-down. Tonight was our first time back and the food was amazing! The pulled pork was so juicy, it was the star of the meal. Other than taking a couple minutes to be helped, and the employees being a bit foul-mouthed, our experience could not have been better. We can't wait to come back!

Brisket is my favorite on everything here and the giant baked potato is the best. Great customer service great surrounding.
Really enjoy this place. My wife has celiacs so avoiding gluten is always a concern, and this place has been incredibly accommodating. Every time I've come in, her food comes prepared after a change of gloves, over a clean surface cutting board. The owner (who was working the line at my last visit) bagged her food separately.
The food is consistent and tasty, and the care and attention shown by the staff, even visits where the owner wasn't present, is something I deeply appreciate. Highly recommend.

Mark, the new owner personally showed up for our event to ensure the food was warm, properly set up and the order was correct. Not only was he on time, the BBQ was outstanding compared to what we had before. We were very impressed with the food and service- would recommend and will definitely use this Dickeys again.

Honestly, I have been coming here for years and I have to say the new ownership is night and day better. The food quality is amazing. The atmosphere owner and all the employees are genuine people that truly care about their customers. My family and I love coming here, right when you walk threw the door you’re greeted with smiles! Did 3 meat platter with brisket, pulled pork and ribs. All excellent..pull apart, amazing flavor and texture. Fried okra was perfect -- best I've had as the okra wasn't overcooked. Coleslaw also perfect. Definitely returning. Owner very invested and involved. Highly recommend and we'll be returning.

Wow! What a comeback!!! We haven’t been here for years due to the decline in the place. Saw the article about the new owner and decided to roll the dice - WINNER! Better than EVER and hands down the best BBQ in the area. Even the sides were elevated! But the ribs…to die for. Wait till you try the new Texas toast roll - everything was crave worthy. To the new owner (very nice guy), see ya next week!
