Good mexican food is hard to find in Washington but I'm sure glad we tried this place & we WILL be back! I tried the fish tacos & they were excellent! We've gone a few more times & they are still great. My husband ordered a burrito & gave it a thumbs up! So glad we found this place!

In the wee hours of Saturday morning, on my way home, I passed El Rinconsito near the intersection of 39th and Median. The fact that they were open at all that hour baffled me as I perused the menu. Tacos were my vegetarian choice, even though the clerk recommended the Championes quesadilla. In my book, these tacos are up there with the best of them. These soft street tacos with sautéed mushrooms, caramelized onions, and cilantro topped with cheese and sauce absolutely slapped! Each mouthful of this surprisingly simple dish is a flavor explosion. They were so excellent that I would have requested another helping if I hadn't started with chips and salsa. Did I mention inexpensive? The prices are on par with many establishments in metro Tacoma. They offer a 4 taco $10.99 deal. I gave this place a four-star since It was too early in the morning to give a fair evaluation of the ambiance. Oh, and the service was amazing by the way. However, if ever in Puyallup, check them out! I shall return tomorrow.

Great place for a quick lunch. Super good prices. I also highly recommend their party platters. I have ordered them 3 weeks in a row for work meetings. They are always helpful and food is always ready when I arrive. It has been a big hit!

For me Mexican food is either just ok, or it’s really good. Here it’s really good! They make their own tortillas, good ingredients, and they make the food fast. Don’t waste your time at places like Mazatlan. Just come here.Kid-friendliness: A good selection for kids at a decent price .

Trying to find the right Mexican restaurant and decided to give this place a try based on a coworker. Had high hopes and yet as you can see it's a single star. The food was not cooked well and had no flavor whatsoever. The counter service was slow and unresponsive yet while I was standing right in front of the counter person and clearly the next person in line they continued to take others ahead of until I made a scene. Just because you bring up your friends ahead of me don't think I will allow it to happen. This was an outrageous treatment of a customer. The other issues were dirty tables and floors and no place to sit and eat. I had to clear off my own table and wiped it down. We (4) will not be back at all.

Love the food here! The Caldo de res is amazing! Mulitas and tacos de lengua are my top 2 favorite things to eat here. The asda tacos or burrito are a little salty. So I wouldn't recommend those. The carne asada plate however, is good!

I come here once every other week and every time I order my food its Fast, Fresh, Hot & delicious. All the ladies Over the phone Or Taking Order In Person Are Very Nice and patient! Very helpful with questions or concerns anyone may have over food and deals! Such a great positive atmosphere. Salsa bar is delicious with lots of fresh options! Always clean and stock. Manager Irene is always working hard ! I love this place . Location and food amazing. Meat quality is fresh and delicious! Thank you guys !! You are the best ! Continue to be you ! Yummy yummy !
